BPF

One morning, Poppy is watering some flowers in the Monteiro estate while humming a tune. Just then, Holly runs up to her.

"Poppy! Poppy! Oh, have I got somethin' to show you! But I gotta warn ya, it's real cute." Holly said.

"Holly, please. I adore cute." Poppy said.

"I hardly think I need to warn y-" Holly warned.

Holly takes out her pet pot-bellied pig, Pigtail, causing Poppy to gasp.

"Eee!" Poppy squealed and then fainted.

"Poppy! Poppy, you OK, girl?" Holly asked.

"Holly, who is that?" Poppy asked.

"That's Pigtail." Holly said.

Pigtail oinks.

"See, Now that I'm settled here in Harmonia Falls, I figured it was time to send home for my BPF." Holly explained.

"Sorry, BPF?" Poppy asked.

"Um... Best pest friend? Surely you have pets in the city, right? I mean, what about..." Holly asked.

"What?! Mr. Dinkles is not a pet!" Biggie protested, which Mr. Dinkles agreed.

"Uh... I guess that stand corrected?" Holly said.

"Yeah. BPFs must be one of those things that's unique to your home state," Poppy said.

"Oh, really?" Holly said.

She turned to Poppy and she sees Rose, Dante, Lownote, and Val with their BPFs. Val has a snake named Fang, who is sleeping in its glass tank, Dante Crescendo has a pet gecko, Lownote Jones has his pet pug, and Rose is gallantly riding on a Amarillo white horse. She is wearing a white shirt with a jabot tie, dark pink jacket and pants with black riding boots.

"Meeeeeh!" Val said.

Synth appeared with a parrot on his arm.

"You... you all have BPFs?" Poppy asked.

Well, yeah. When I heard Holly's pet was coming to Harmonia Falls, I decided to send home for old Fang here. Didn't I, my little boy." Val said.

"Uh... Val, I think you wittle boy is tryin' to eat rats nearby," Poppy said.

"Oh, yeah, he likes to eat all kinds of small animals. Yes, you do! Yes, you do! Aw!" Val cooed.

"I'd like you to meet Diamante, Poppy, remember him?" Rose asked him as she got off her pet horse.

"Oh yeah, he easily loves me," Poppy awed.

"I want you to meet my BPF that I found a few days ago! He is in the rental car," Bluey called out.

Bluey rolled down the rental car window and on the seat was a stuffed lion, with his mane and fur composed entirely of multicolored yarn. Unlike real lions, his tail is absent. His features extend to an amber-colored face and limbs, with a black line vertically splitting his face into two that reveal a large open mouth hollowed out inside his head. while a touch of tan graces his three-toed paws. His spherical head contains two large, cartoon-y white eyes with black, dilated irises and small white pupils. On his face rests a big grin with three triangular fangs poking out asymmetrically from his lower lip, giving him a goofy appearance. He also wears a blue colored service animal vest. His head turned to look at the group. 

"This is Yarnaby, Don't worry he's tamed," Bluey said as she rolled the window back up.

"That is a toy," Rose said bluntly as Diamante made fun of the toy by snickering at it.
