Poppy is on the stage doing a gift-wrapping lecture to the Smiling Dogs.
"And by gift-wrapping an already wrapped present, the recipient gets the thrill of opening it twice!" Poppy said.
"Oh!" The Smiling Dogs said in amazement.
Honey takes notes.
"Like pass the parcel," Chloe said.
"Pretty much!" Poppy said.
"Poppy! Poppy!" Branch said, panicking.
"What's the trouble Branch?" Lucky asked.
"Branch, easy. All I did so far is gift-wrap an already wrapped present so that-" Poppy said.
"So that the recipient gets the thrill of opening it twice, I know! Poppy, we've got a problem..." Branch said.
Soon eight anthropomorphic animals which are a black and white sheep, a white and pink bat, a yellow and black poison dart frog, a gator, a red dragon, a raven, a rat and a teal shark came out of the bushes laughing evilly.
"No! It can't be..." Rose gasped.
"Umm... who are they?" Poppy asked.
"They are trouble," Rose said.
"Am I going crazy, or does this group resemble us?" Honey wondered.
"Freaky-deaky!" Chloe said.
"That's right, Rosethorn, we are the Nightmare Critters, we are your archest of nemesis at the same evil time!" Baba Chops cackled.
Cooper joins in the Nightmare Critters laughing.
"No, not you!" Rabie Baby sneered.
"You don't want to hear my trademark Cooper Laugh? Ooh, you are evil." Cooper said.
"You pea brains may have bested each of us individually. But united, we're unstoppable!" Baba Chops said.
"That's right. We are going to turn Harmonia Falls into our play place once and for all!" Allister Gator said.
"Uh.. excuse me!" Rabie Baby said.
"No we're not." Icky Licky said.
"Huh?" Poppy and Branch gasped.
"We never discussed anything about turning an entire town into our play place. We're here to enact our revenge by ruining their parties, remember?" Baba Chops said.
"Where were you when we discussed our plan? Sleeping as usual," Simon Smoke sneered.
"Ruin their parties? Oh, gag." Poe said.
"What do you think we should do Mr. emo," Baba Chops spatted.
"First off I'm Non Binary, second probably spray paint buildings at night," Poe said.
"That is basically my idea turning Harmonia Falls into our play place!" Allister Gator debated.
"He has a point," Touille piped in.
"How about stealing cakes from bakeries?" Maggie Mako said.
"With you everything is sweets," Rabie Baby said.
The eight critters started bickering and arguing with each other.
"Would you look at these eight?" Poppy said.
"I know," Branch said.
"They really need someone to help them become friends." Poppy said.
Yeah. Wait, what? Help them?! Poppy, they are bad kids," Branch said.
