I was waiting in the parking lot for Finn. I look around him and see him talking to his brother. For once he actually looks sincere. I walk closer and listen in.

"Alright little bro, be safe" Finn says fist pumping his brother

Kurt just nods and walks away

"See ya at home" Finn yells

Kurt just waves his hand signaling he knows

Still Rachel POV
Finns actually pretty sweet. I don't know why he doesn't show this side of himself. I stand there waiting for him. He turns and looks at me surprised.

"By any chance did you maybe not here any of that?" He asks walking
"Nope, heard all of it, and you know what?" I ask smiling and getting on his bike
"What?" He asks
"You're not as vile as I thought you were" I say gripping onto him
"Well I was just pretending" he tries to argue
"Pretend all you want but I know the truth...and I like it" I smile

With that we drive off

Rachel POV
I walk into school cool as a cucumber when sam approaches me mad. We're in the middle of the hallway when he shoves the schools paper in my face.

"What is this!??" He yells

I'm so confused so I grab the paper only to read lies

Schools scoops of the day!

Hot cheerleader Rachel Berry caught cheating on perf boyfriend Sam Evans with schools bad boy Finn Hudson! How naughty of little NOT so innocent berry!!

I see a picture of Finn and I yesterday. There's two, one with his arm around me and the other of me on his motorcycle. I can't believe this! And sam actually believes this??

"You actually believe this garbage?" I say plainly
"Well it looks pretty accurate to me!" He yells
"Finn was just giving me a ride home" I say
"And his many time a has he 'given you a ride??" Sam asks still mad
"Just twice, calm down sam" I say

By now everyone's gathered around

"Twice!!! How can I calm down when you cheated??? With Finn!!!" Sam yells
"I didn't cheat, and what is so wrong with Finn?" I ask mad
"Oh so now you're defending him?" Sam asks pouting
"No! He's just a friend" I yell frustrated he doesn't trust me

Before sam can answer Finn walks down the hallway mad too. He's walking toward us

"Can you believe this rach?" Finn yells

Sam widens his eyes and hers even more pissed off.

"Just a friend huh rach? Well have fun riding Finns bike, " sam says mad about to walk away but Finn grabs his shoulder

"Nothing happened man" he said

Sam just looked at his shoulder and sucked punched Finn. I gasped. Finn didn't fall instead he just rubbed his jaw and punched Sam back..hard

"Stop! Stop it you two" I said trying to break them up as they started to kill each other

Finn jumped on top of sam and started punching him. Sam was trying to get up but Finn was too strong. I was about to pull them off when someone dragged me away.

"Hey!" I say when the person stops me and I see it's Monica

She just stares at me

"What?" I ask
"See what happens when you talk with Finn" she says pissed

Damn is everyone mad today?

"Finn's a good guy, and what is so wrong with me being his friend?!" I yell
"No he's not, it's barely been a month and he's already getting into fights for you" she states
"He's just trying to protect me, he's a good guy, despite what you think" I say
"Stop hanging with him Rachel, he's bad news" Monica says
"No he's not! And you can't tell me what to do!" I say walking away

Monica just stand there pissed. I walk back to see Mr.Scheuster break the guys apart. Everyone walks away except me. Sam comes up to me with a bloody nose

"We're done" he states walking off

Leaving me standing there with a bruised up Finn. He had a mad look and then he sees me cry and his face softens.

"Rach...I'm sor...." I interrupt
"Don't, it's not your fault" I say sad

Finn just hugs me while I cry.  His warm embrace makes me fell safe, no matter what anyone says.
