"Hey," William wrapped his arms around me from behind. I froze and then straightened my back. "So I was thinking," he started kissing down my neck. I held back from the pleasure. He meant nothing to me anymore. He's a liar and a cheat, just like me.

"I have to work today." I dodged him and turned around to face him.

"You didn't even know what I was going to say." He looked at me peculiarly.

"I took am educated guess." I patted him on the shoulder.

"What's been up with you lately?" He followed me to the bedroom. I slipped off my green tank top and shorts.

"What do you mean?" I grabbed a yellow sundress from my dresser. I swung it over my head.

"You don't talk to me anymore or react to anything I do." He came closer to me. "You can talk to me, babe." He held my hands, I swallowed.

"I have stuff to do before work, so see you tonight." I kissed him on the cheek and left.

I quickly walked through the warm spring sun. My hair flew through the casual breeze. I smiled to myself, I have found independence or so I thought. I finally got to the diner. I bursts through the door with a bright positive attitude. Duff and Steven turned their heads from the third booth down, and waved. My smile expanded as I trotted over. I took a seat next to Steven. He kissed my cheek.

"Where's William?" Duff said as he searched around the diner.

"What do you think?" I rolled my eyes.

"You look spiffy today." Steven leaned on his elbow.

"Well I try." I laughed.

"Anyways, we know." Duff leaned in closer to the table. My eyes widened, what did he mean they knew? What was it that they knew? "William and you are engaged. I mean I wouldn't have expected it, but-"

"Wait, what?" I cut him off. They both looked at each other astonished.

"You aren't?" Steven raised an eyebrow.

"Not that I know of." I panicked.

"Oh, shit." Duff bit his tongue.

"This morning, shit." I banged on the table with my fist. "No, no I can't." Looked at the both of them.

"Hey guys," Saul smoothly walked over to our table. "What's up, sorry I'm late?" He gazed into my eyes. "Um, are you-"

"William is proposing to Sophie today." Duff smirked. Saul's eyes widened greater than mine. He slowly lowered himself onto the booth on Duff's side. He did waver his gaze towards me.

"We don't know that." I snapped.

"Oh yes we do." Steven nodded.

"We know what?" Izzy came barging into our conversation. I ducked me head a bit. I knew he was staring at me though.

"Sophie's engagement, duh." Steven said sassily. Izzy also joined us on the booth, but beside me.

"We were trying to celebrate, but I guess he hasn't asked her yet." Duff said while trying to light a cigarette. Saul and Izzy didn't even recognize each other's presence.

"I'm not engaged." I mumbled.

"Telling me, you'd also be getting married to heroin." Duff chuckled. Steven glared at him. We were fully aware of Steven's guilty pleasure.

"It won't last long." Saul implied.

"Think about the tour." Izzy lit a cigarette as well. "He's only going to bring you down." He looked into my eyes sternly.

"You don't know that." I said to Duff, trying to not face Izzy. "He could change." Which I knew was complete bullshit.

"Will changing?" Steven laughed.

"That's about as likely as Saul drowning straight blonde hair." Duff huffed. Saul glared at him as well.

"I know," I exhaled. "One can only hope."

"I need to go." Izzy and Saul said in sync. They looked across the table at each other. The both got up and left hastily out the door.

We watched them walk out into the parking lot. They chatted to each other, then they started brawling. Duff's mouth opened, and Steven leaned in closer over my shoulder. I placed a hand on the window. What was going on?

"Well fuck," Duff whispered. I climbed over Steven quickly and ran out of the diner.

"You fucker!" Izzy punched Saul in the left eye.

"Fuck you asshole!" Saul threw Izzy onto the asphalt.

"Guys," I yelled running over to them. They didn't seem to hear me.

"You promised," Izzy screamed trying to push Saul off of him. Saul slugged him in the mouth.

"Saul please," I didn't get too close to them, but I tried getting their attention.

"I didn't promise shit!" Izzy shoved Saul off of him.

"I fuckin' warned you, Hudson."

"You motherfuckers!" I screamed. They both immediately looked up at me. My face was flushed with anger. I grabbed Saul from his grey hoodie and Izzy from his leather jacket. "What the fuck is going on?!" I let go of them.

"Nothing," Saul mumbled.

"Obviously there is, or you two would be having this ridiculous fight!" I heard a tap from the diner window, we all turned our heads. It was Duff, he gave me a thumbs up. I flipped him off. "Now I just got up, and I'm already done with today."

"Tell in' me," Izzy said snakily.

"Oh really?" I got up in his face. "The other day you left in the streets." Then I turned to Saul. "You left me with a heroin addict after a show. So right now I'm not thrilled with either of you." They both hunched over at the shoulders. "The last thing I want right now though, is a fucking fight between my friends. Figure this out, or Ill make you." I pulled them in by their collars. "Don't temp me." I let them go.

I heard them breath heavily, my vision became blurred. I deeply inhaled, the rest was a mystery. I fainted into Saul's arms. The last turning point for me, I was pregnant.
