Chapter 24- Yelling in a different language? (The Party Part 1)

"It's time to get our party on!" Caroline yells as we walk towards the house.

Okay Emma you can do this. It's just a party. That's all it is.

Yeah, a party full of hormonal teenagers that are drunk. My mind tells me.

That statement doesn't help. I tell myself.

Okay. I can do this.

So we enter the house.

Oh and the house looks like a flipping mansion!

Caroline and Jess look at each other and they smirk.

They turn to us and say "Okay guys, we'll see you later. Oh and no one goes home since we'll all most likely be drunk. So no driving. We all just have to sleep it off." She waits for us to give her an answer.

We nod are heads in agreement.

And then they disappear into the crowd of hormonal teenagers.

Me, Jessica, and Maggie look at each other then we go into the crowd.

We push and shove our way through the crowd to get to the bar.

When were almost their a guy comes up to Jessica and asks her "You want to dance?"

Jessica looks at us then says "I have a boyfriend actually."

"That has nothing to do with dancing." he says with a smirk.

"Fine then, my answer is no. Now if you'll excuse me, me and my friends would like to get a drink." Jessica says as she pushes the guy to the side and we walk up to the bar.

"Someone has some sass tonight." Maggie says to Jessica with a smile.

"Well I know that guy was not just looking for a 'dance'. He was looking for a bed buddy also. And I have a boyfriend." She says before she asks for a drink from the bar.

"What are you drinking?" I ask her.

"Its just beer." She says as she takes another sip.

"This stuff isn't that bad." Jessica says.

The mansion house has a bar that is filled with a variety of different alcohols.

"You should get something Em."Jessica tells me, referring to the alcohol.

"No I think I'll pass. Maybe later though."

She just nods her head then keeps drinking her drink.

We just sit their and then someone wraps their hands around Jessica's waist.

"I thought I told you not to bother me anymore dude." Jessica says as she thinks its that dude who tried to get her to dance with him.

"What are you talking about?" The guy says.

Jessica turns around and sees Daniel with a very confused look on his face.

"Oh um hey..... yeah never mind about what I just said." She says.

"No, no, no, no, what where you talking about?" Daniel asks/demands.

"Um, well, someguycameuptometodancewhenitwasobviousthathewantedmorethanadance." Jessica says so fast that you can't even understand what she said.

"Can you please speak to where we can understand you." He says.

She sighs then says "Some guy came up to me and asked me for a dance and you know boys and their hormones, so we all know he was wanting a little more than a 'dance'. So I told him no."
