                                                                          I Liked Them.

Legacy didn't know the reason. And he doesn't want to find out. But it's not like he has a choice when the pack leader summons you to his office. That too, without any prior notice. Maybe he fou- no! that's not possible! His body trembled just as the thought crossed his mind. Nobody knows. Not a single soul.

He inwardly flinched when the enforcer, a dominant alpha, opened the door to the hallway that led to the private meeting rooms. eh, it's not the alpha's office.

Raking his brain over the reason why the alpha summoned him to a private meeting instead of his office, he walked through the hallway. The only reason he could think of is his r- rejection. Did he really found ou- nope! Just thinking about the scenario itself was enough to push the boy into a panic attack.

If he were a wolf -even being an omega would've sufficed- he would've sniffed it out.

But alas, he is a plain old human without anything but good hands and a brain that grabs random info.

Willing his thundering heart to subside, the brunet walked to the open meeting room.

Legacy's leg came to a stop when he noticed all the wolves seated inside that large meeting room. Now he knows why they chose a private meeting room. There are too many people.

Not only the alpha and beta, but his father and the other sub-leaders were also there. even their pack elders too. And the neighbouring pack leader- whom he heard was visiting their pack for some business deal- and a woman- who's apparently a witch if the rumours are to be believed- were there. Along with the weird white-haired boy and his beta mate. What is happening? Am I being exiled? What for? I didn't do anything.

Even though the brunet didn't know why he was summoned, from how everyone was looking at him with something akin to wariness and scepticism, he knew something was wrong. And he wasn't going to step out of this room like he just come.

Legacy can feel the sign of a panic attack trying to grip his rational mind. Ever since he was turned out to be a human, the unknown scared him, and now, feeling everyone's eyes on him, judging him, assessing him, sneering at him.... His cinnamon colored eyes strayed to his father in hopes. Hopes of what? He doesn't know. The man doesn't have to hug him, nor does he have to give a speech to others about how Legacy is innocent. But when he saw his father sitting there, not even giving a fleeting glance at him, something died inside him. Did he really think his father was going to help? What a joke!

Stifling his wounded heart, he squared his shoulders and gave the much-needed bows to his alpha and elders.

"You called me alpha?" Fixing his eyes on the alpha's table, as it was considered a challenge to look them in their eyes, Legacy asked.

"Yes, we have..." the alpha looked troubled, like he didn't know how to open up. "We summoned you as Alpha Knight, and Beta Murphy wants to talk with you" If it wasn't such a punishable act to interrupt his alpha, he would've stopped him by saying how he wasn't responsible for the boy fainting.

Sure, the boy was touching him when he fainted. But it's not like he was the reason the boy collapsed. Actually, they should be thanking him because he's the reason the boy didn't crack his head open like a watermelon. So they should be grateful to him, not complain about him to his alpha.
