At this point, I think I'm cursed, bro TT.

I applied for a university, got the seat, but couldn't continue the process coz didn't get the green light on the education loan.

2 yrs ltr, got the loan, proceeds with the education, goes to apply visa. BAAM! Instead of me, there's another girl's document. had to cancel the application. Proceeds to apply again, can't coz IELTS is expiring. Fk me!

4 months later, got the visa and everything, booked the flight. The flight got cancelled coz of the war!!!!!

Kill me now!!

I'm cursed, I'm saying. I'm pretty fk"n sure  TT.

Anyway, it's just filler, guys.

Apparently, my draft is just the main points, not what's going on between them, TT. So I had to wing it *sigh

                                             Sitting Ducks

The full moon looked beautiful. Yet so daunting.

Elrid looked over to the meeting room.

Everyone was on edge. Well, they should be, considering what's going to happen just some hours later.

Just three hours and then it's going to be the middle of the night.

The time when the killer attacks.

And they've prepared everything they could have.

There are several wolves, including the gamma and enforcers, and trackers, patrolling the pack territory. There are even some enforcers positioned inside the pack to ensure their safety, just in case.

And Sage- bless that woman's heart- had cast a spell to alert them if someone trespass the terrain without their permission.

And she even put some cast on Legacy. Well, precaution is better than a cure.

And now they sat here, inside the long meeting hall, waiting for whatever the sh!t show that's going to happen.

Elrid's eyes glanced at the brunet.

Legacy sat at the end of the long, hunched under the scrutiny of some older wolves.

Even with all these people around him, loneliness wafted off him.

And it felt pathetic to watch.

And feeling all this wariness and accusations that the others felt towards that lone boy was so deplorable, Elrid couldn't help but scrunch his brows.

And most of the people were here not to protect the boy but to take the credit for catching the killer. And Elrid can sense how many of them genuinely cared for the boy. This is why Elrid hated being an empath. All those feelings people bury inside them with their happy smiles and nonjudging eyes, while inside their minds, they'll be loathing you, resenting you. Elrid hate those people. Two-faced shits.

There are only a few people whom Elrid met who didn't lie about their emotions. That's one of the reasons why he loves his mom. God, that woman doesn't have a lying bone in her body. Actually its more of having no filter.

And the other one is-

"Bambi," Elrid turned towards his boyfriend.

Caleb stood there in front of him, a glass of – Elrid sniffed- steaming hot chocolate in his hands. Ah ~ this is why I love him.
