The engines of the Godson Railway have all seen and have met a number of engines over their time of operating, whether it be famous engines or passerbys. They were accustom to many other locomotives, but sure enough, something new was bound to arrive on their railway sooner or later.

You see, with more people traveling the GR, there arises the question of frequency of their services. Despite Henrietta, Kate, and the other express engines' best efforts, it's eventually decided that there is to be established a new light express service, to increase frequency. Wolferton and a new engine are acquired for this service. Little did anyone know that more than one engine would come to the railway.

On a busy Friday afternoon, Eric and Olivia had just finished shunting a mixed traffic train at Traintown for one of the engines. They were finishing up when they heard an unfamiliar whistle.

'Must be the new engine to help with the new light express service.' Eric thought.

However the engine wasn't what Eric was expecting. The engine that approached him was an LB&SCR A1 "Terrier" class. She had six small wheels, a short stumpy boiler and dome, and a tall funnel. She was painted green with her number 1 painted on the sides of her tanks in yellow.

The terrier was also pulling a narrow gauge engine on a well wagon. The engine is a Fletcher Jennings Class C 0-4-2ST, like Skarloey, painted red with yellow and black lining. She has gold number plates on the sides of her coal bunkers, as well as the name 'Talyllyn' written on the sides of her saddle tank. She also has noticeable eyelashes.

"Hello there," The Terrier greeted

"Hello there," The Terrier greeted. "Who are you?"

"Oh, I'm Eric." The orange E2 replied. "Are you the new engine to for the light passenger trains?" He asked.

"No." The Terrier answered. "I'm Belle, and this is Talyllyn. We're from the Southern Island Railway."

Eric raised one of his eyebrows. "Southern Island?" He echoed. "Never heard of it."
