Rivers POV

As soon as we get In the door I walk straight to mine and kolbys room. "Babe.." kolby gently let a growl like purr through the word trying to get me to calm down. my heart felt it was going to beat out of my chest everything was to much the fight with my family my mom in the hospital my dad might be coming back kolby calling me babe it was all so much too much. my head was pounding my ears started ringing I feel dizzy. Then I gently get pulled into kolbys arms he gently sits on the floor and pulls me to him my back against his chest. "Breath River.. I'm right here take a breath." He gently pulls my hand to his chest. I could feel his heart beat it was steady and strong. I took a breath trying to listen to it. The sound flooded my ears as I listened to it my breathing started to calm down my ears stopped ringing I leaned more into him. He gently nuzzles my neck softly taking in my scent. "You ok please don't lie to me." I sighed and gently rubbed his head and kissed his forehead "I'm better now..thank you." I sighed and leaned on him he gently rubbed my neck and kisses my shoulder softly a few times. "Kolby.." he smiles. "Ok ok just trying to help you relax." I smiled and leaned against his chest more. "Keep doing that." He smiles and gently rubs my shoulders and neck.

Two hours later

Me and kolby have been in bed pretty much the whole time we've been back and I'm not complaining he's being so sweet and not pushing me to talk about it even though I had a panic attack. It's not like I don't want to talk but right now I just want to stay by his side. "You ok?" He Mumbles and kisses my cheek. "Yeah why?" "Cuz you zoned out for a minute and you aren't high you don't zone out like that usually unless you are." I shake my head. "I'm fine just sleepy." He smiles softly and kisses my forehead and lays down and turns down the TV. "Wanna sleep then?" I blushed and lay on his chest. "Jerk." I smiled "I'm just trying to help you sleep." "No your being all cute and shit so I don't kick you out of the room." "Maybe or maybe I'm trying to help you sleep cuz you've had a shitty day." I sighed and played with his hoodie a little. He smiles and plays with my hair. "Try to get some sleep River." He let a growl like purr to follow his words the sound was very calming. "Not sleepy anymore." "Lier." He smirks and kisses my cheek softly and kisses my shoulder a few times pulling me onto him. "Wh-" he kisses me Deeply. "You don't want to sleep fine then what do you want to do?" I swear if he doesn't stop pulling these stupid little stunts I'll kill him. He smiles and kisses my jaw. "River why do you keep fighting with me over little things?" "Because...I can." I mumbled he flips us around now he's over top of me. "That is not a good enough reason." He lays his chin on my chest and gently plays with my hair. "How can you be so ...not freaked out about doing stuff like this?" "Because... it's you I guess...if it were anyone else I'd be a nervous mess with you I know I don't have to worry I've known you since we were 8 so 10 years." I sighed and sat up he sits across from me. "I'm nervous because it's you... If it was someone randomly flirting with me I'd be fine" he chuckled and kisses my forehead. "So I make you nervous?" I glared and he smirks. "Shut up!" I tackled him he let me pin him to tht ground. "You aren't going to fight back?" "Nah I'm enjoying the view of you on top me." I swear I think I'm going to turn into a tomato at this point if I blush anymore. I bolted off him and lay on the bed holding a pillow over my face. "I hate you." I mutter "if that were true you would have punched me already." He leans against the wall. "I love you River." I looked at him. "Love you too." I mumbled quietly. He smirks and lays next to me on his side. I pout a little. "What?" "Why are you doing that?" "Doing what?" I glare he knows what he's doing. He smirks. "Say it and you'll get what you want." I glare. "I can't give you what you want if you don't ask." "Jerk just get over here so I can sleep." I Mutter and he smirks. "Close enough." I lay on his arm and slowly fall asleep to the sound of his heart beating.

August POV

I walked with Meako and my two little siblings. "Be careful May." I smiled as she walked on the curb of the side walk Creak was holding Meako's hand and jumping over mud puddles. I couldn't help but think It was the most adorable thing. May and Creak ran to the pet store window to look at the puppies. "That's so fucking cute." I Mutter. "What is you've been staring at me for the past five minutes." He smiles. "You being good with kids." He blushes. "Don't get any ideas." "What ideas?" He smirks and holds my hand. "Let's at least finish highschool before talking about starting something." I smiled and kissed his shoulder and hugs him from behind. "Promise?" He smiles and kisses my cheek. "Cross my heart baby now come on let's go home." May jumped into Meako's arms he smiles and carries her home creak smiles and jumps on me. "Hey Augie are you going to marry him?" I blushed hard. "Someday..I hope to but we are to Yong for that right now." I smiled and set him on the kitchen counter and started putting away the grocerys. Creak smiles. "I like him he's nice and he makes you smile all the time. He also doesn't yell at us..or makes may may cry." That made me stop for a second. "Who made may May cry?" "Mama's friend he used to come over whenever Dad wasn't in town all the time." "Ok Creak tell me what he looks like." "He had dark hair it was cut really short and he had grey eyes and dark skin he hit mom once and yelled at May and he almost hit her but I got in the way and he hit me instead." He touched his chest. My mind flooded with rage I knew who he was talking about the guy who lives in the house behind ours. "It's ok Bud you are safe here ok why don't you go pick out a movie and you and May go watch it ok." He smiles and jumps down and puts on a movie and May sits and watches it too. "Hey you ok?" Meako asked rubbing my shoulder a little. "Creak just told me the guy who lives in the house behind my old one hit my mom and hit him too and was trying to hit my baby sister.. the guy is a creep he was hitting on my other sisters as well.." my eyes started glowing for a second. Meako gently pulls me to face him. "Hey calm down you can't do anything not when they will see you baby you'll scare them." I sighed and nuzzled into his neck softly. He's right i don't want my little siblings scared of me not when I'm there safe place right now. "I want to rip his head off he hurt them I don't give a shit about me he hurt them they are still babies Meak." I mutter his eyes flash as well he's just as angry. "I know we'll have to talk to your siblings my parents won't mind watching May and Creak they get home tonight." I sighed and kissed him softly. " Just be patient."
