I woke up with Meako on my chest and Griff laughing from the kitchen table watching us. "Shut up jerk." "Sorry but that's just funny as shit." I rolled my eyes and kissed Meako's head softly. He rubbed his eyes and curled a little closer to me. "Morning." He mumbles and tries to sit up. I pulled him back to me for a second and kissed him softly. "Morning love." He blushes and shakes his head. "Y'all are fucking cute." Wolf smirks. "Fuck I forgot you get up early when you're here." I sighed and leaned against Meako a little still not used to being out. "You ok?" Meako whispered to me I nodded and nuzzled into his shoulder for a second. "You two want breakfast? My mom picked up breakfast sandwiches from McDonald's on her way home if you want." "I'm good but Meako would want one." He glared at me but I kissed his shoulder and smirked. "You need it I know you didn't eat well yesterday." "August- "please for me?" He sighed and pouted a little. Griff tossed me the sandwich. "Thank you." I smiled as Meako started eating. "Fuck off." He grumbles. Griff laughed a little Wolf watched him softly their eyes soften when they see him its cute to see this side of Wolf.

After we hung out with them and woke up a little more we started heading back to Meako's place. "You're different around your friends." Meako Mumbles. "Different how?" "You're a lot more touchy I guess you're more nervous and almost scared..." I never really thought about it I honestly shouldn't even be surprised he noticed all that he's always been able to read me better than anyone I've met. "Sorry.. I'm- "no no babe don't be sorry you are right I'm a lot more nervous and scared around my friends when I'm with you. I'm just not used to being out I guess I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable." "No no it's fine just something I noticed." I smiled and kissed his temple.

Meako's POV

"Mom I'm home!" I called taking off my jacket when I got in the door August took off his jacket and hung it up next to mine. He gently pulled me to him and hugged me from behind. "You ok?" "Yeah just love you." He Mumbles and kisses my shoulder. I smiled. "I love you too." He smiles and gently takes my hand as I walk into the kitchen my mom is sitting at the table with my father and August's older brothers. "What's going on?" I asked tighting my grip on August's hand. "Meako August sit down please we need to talk. August sat down and I sat beside him I was nervous. I glanced at August and I couldn't tell if he was nervous or not by looking at his face it was like stone but his leg was bouncing up and down a little under the table till he jabed his wolf ring into his thy a little to stop it. "Mom what is going on?" I mumbled gently Putting my hand on August's thy. "The cops looked at Mom's records they were talking about taking Maya and Creak away you as well since you are under age Lyra already told them she's barely home and she said she's talking to Stormy about him becoming the twins legal guardian I told him I'd tell you." River said. "Ok so me the twins Lyra and winter would be under his care?" "Yeah for now I bought an apartment next to the studio me and kolby are moving into it this weekend there's 3 bedrooms if you want to crash there when you get tired of Stormy mouth it's yours." August took a breath and he started shaking. He stood up quickly. "I-i need a minute." River nodded and sank into his chair a little.

I followed August outside. "August are you ok?" I mumbled gently Putting my hand on his arm. He sighed and looked away a little. I could tell he was crying a little. "Hey Babe." "Sorry just-" "no no it's ok tell me whats wrong." I gently stood in front of him taking his hands. He sighed and gently leaned his forehead on mine. "I don't Wana live with my brother.. at all but it's the only choice I have the cops check Rivers history they won't let live with him Wyatt has had problems as well not nearly as bad as my parents he's doing great now just.. I know he plans on moving to Texas with his boyfriend soon... My oldest sister is only 15." He sighed and leaned against the wall "he's the one that hurt you isn't he?" I grumbled he nods a little. "You aren't living with him we will figure something out ok babe?" He nodded a little and looked away. I could tell he had tears on his face he was so quiet though if I wasn't paying attention I probably wouldn't have been able to tell. I gently wiped away some of them. "August-" "s-sorry." He Mumbles and wiped his face with his his jacket sleeve. "Hey look at me." He refused for a second till I gently pulled his face to mine. "I understand baby with everything you have going on I get it I'm right here with you though.. I ain't leaving you ok." He nods and gently pulls me closer and nuzzles his face into my shoulder. "I'm sorry.." he Mumbles a little. "Why do you keep apologizing love none of this is your fault." I mumbled and wiped his tears away. "I hate seeming...""don't you dare say weak or scared baby I don't know anyone who could deal with this much bullshit and still have the will to keep going.. don't you fucking dare call your self weak." He smiles a little for a second and leans on me. "Fuck I love you so much." I smiled and gently hug him closer and rub his back. "I love you too more then you know." He smiles and pulls away for a minute still holding me. Like I'm the one thing keeping up. The look in his eyes made me melt almost instantly. Like I was seeing every part of him at once the side of him that's defensive and tuff. Then the side that he only lets some people get to see the soft and protective side. "Fuck I love you." I mumbled. He smiles and nuzzles into my shoulder again.

"You ok?" River asked August when we came back inside. He nodded and slumped into the chair I noticed his leg shaking a little he was about to jab his ring into it again when I gently laid my hand on it stopping it from shaking. He glanced at me for a second before turning his attention back to his brother when he started talking again.

August POV

" I texted Stormy earlier and said that we should have a family meeting between all 10 of us to figure out who's going where and shit." River sighed I nodded and gently laid my hand on Meako's under the table on my thy. Meako glares at the table for a minute he's so zoned out it's funny he can't keep his emotions off his face.

Later that night River was waiting for me down stairs as I got dressed to go meet my siblings at the beach for the little family meeting. I was shaking so hard and pacing a little as I tried to zip up my jacket but my hands were shaking so bad I couldn't get it. Meako gently pulls me to him and zips up the stupid thing. "I could go with you.." "you would punch my brother in the Balls baby.." he rolled his eyes. "Don't even try to tell me you haven't been thinking about it since you found out Stormy was the one who hurt me." He glares at me playing around. "The thought has crossed my mind once or twice." I smirked and kissed his forehead. "I'll be back later I promise." He nodded. "You better be or I swear I'll Hunt down your brother and beat him up till I feel better." He smirks. I was trying so hard not to laugh I couldn't picture him hurting a fly he's too sweet for it. "Ok love I'd better go before River gets bored and decides to do something stupid." He smiles and nods. I hug him closer and kiss his cheek before going down stairs. "Ready to go little wolf?" River said trying to get a laugh out of me he knows I hate being called that. "Yep." He nods and me and him go out back and shift into wolves running side by side to the beach.

Rivers POV

We finally got to the beach Stormy was in wolf form growling at Lyra for something she clearly did probably got into a fight with Mom or something. August stood closer to me and nuzzled into my side just a little. I gently muzzled his head and walked over to my brothers and sisters. "River!" Maya ran over to me in wolf form she's a little black and white wolf with longer furr then some of us. "Hey little Wolf girl." She nips at my leg playing till I gently pulled away. Stormy growls lightly. "You two are late. What were you doing?" "None of your business Stormy let it go. We are all here now so let's just get on with this stupid meeting already." I rolled my eyes shifting back. The rest of my siblings shifted back into human form as we climbed down into the meeting den.

"I'm going to assume River told you I'm getting guardianship of you and the twins Lyra as well?" Stromy looked at August. "Yeah i know whatever.. I'll probably just stay with a friend most of the time." He crossed his arms ky smirked a little and put his arm on his shoulders. "Relax little wolf.." he Mumbles. August leans on him more. Stormy sighed and looks at all of us. I could have sworn he looked scared to death for half a second. "River you said you have an apartment?" "Yeah me and kolby are getting it soon." "Wyatt you are moving to Texas next month with Tyler?" He nodded and leans on a wall he's so quiet even though he's taller then all of us. Not to mention he looks meaner then all of us half the time but to be honest he's the nicest person I've ever met. "Ky where are you going?" "I'll probably stay with River and the guys for a while till I move on or by a place with eve." He shrugs and keeps his arm around Augusts shoulder. "Wills?" "I've got a place in new York with my girlfriend winter is moving in next to us with Aiden." "I have a small place down the street from our old house for me and you 4." Stromy looked at Lyra. She sighed and nuzzled into Wyatts shoulder a little he gently hugged her form the side. "So we good?" I mumbled. "Yeah I'll see you guys later." We all shifted into wolves and went our separate ways.
