Meako's POV

I stayed up for what felt like forever. Waiting for August to get home. When He finally walked through the door he looked scared exhausted and like he just wanted to break. I gently pulled him to me and held him. "Hey baby." I mumbled into his shoulder he slumped onto me a little making me almost fall. "Wana go upstairs? And just lay down?" He nuzzled into my shoulder and took in my scent a little. "I don't care I just need you close." He closed his eyes I could see worry on his face and the need he had for it to just stop feeling this way. "Ok love." He gently took my hand as I led him upstairs. "I love you..." He Mumbles as he gently pulled me to him. "I know baby I love you too... it'll be ok." He nodded and nuzzled my neck softly. "Come on let's get ready for bed ok." He nodded and pulled off his shirt and jacket I gently helped put his clothes into the hamper before getting ready myself. He put on some basketball shorts before laying in the bed watching me get changed. I layed next to him gently traceing some scares on his shoulders and chest. "You're so handsome." He Mumbles I blushed hard but smiled. "So are you.. are you ok?" He didn't answer right away so I knew something was wrong but I also know him he won't want to talk about it for a while. "I will be." He Mumbles and kissed my cheek softly before laying on my chest kissing my neck softly a few times. "I just need you...I know I'll be ok."

The next morning I woke up to August clinging onto me like he was afraid of he let go I'd disappear into thin air. I gently traced the scars on his back the one on his shoulder is the most jagged out of all of them. It looks like he put up a fight when it happened. "Morning.." he Mumbles a little. "Hey baby." He nuzzles into my chest more and curls into me. "What do you have going on today?" He asked. "Nothing really just some homework I have to get done why?" "Nothing just I have some stuff I gotta do so I can stay at my brother's.." he shrugs and looks away a bit. "Hey I already told you we can figure something out.. I know you don't wanna live there.. I don't want you living there anyway." He nodded and kept his eyes on the ground. "Hey.. August." "I'm fine Meako ok I've gotta get ready anyway." He shrugs and gets up. I hate it when he does that shit. I wish he'd realize he doesn't have to be strong all the time act like he's fine when he's not I'll be strong for him when he's breaking. But I guess I'll have to prove that to him. He pulls on a hoodie when I wrap my arms around him form behind. I lay a gently kiss to his shoulder and back of his neck. "I'm here for you whenever you want to talk babe you don't have to be strong in front of me or for me you've seen me breaking before and you were there for me I'll be strong for you when you are breaking...so don't put on this act where you tell me you are fine and that this doesn't hurt when I know damn well it does..ok?" He wiped his eyes and nods a little. "Sor-" I kiss him hard. "No you aren't allowed to say that anymore.." he smiles and nuzzles into my neck. "Fine..." I smiled and gently rubbed his back a little and ran my fingers through his hair. "I love you" he Mumbles agents my skin. "I love you...more than you know." He smiles softly and kisses my cheek. "I gotta at least get my shit out of my mom's old house.." "want me to come with you help out?" "If you want." "Babe..." "Ok ok yes I'd like you to come and help me get my stuff. " "Better I'll be ready in a minute." He smirks and nods. "Cute when you're annoyed." "Shut up." I laugh.

August POV

Rivers, kolby, ky, winter, wyitt and me and Meako are at my old place getting our stuff. Apparently Willa Stormy and the rest of the others already got their stuff besides the twins they didn't really have a lot to begin with but what they do have I can just put with mine and move it to meaks for a while till we get this shit settled and figured out. "I don't even get why we are here can't we just buy new shit?" Winter complained. "Oh yeah why didn't I think of that oh right we don't have any money." I rolled my eyes. She glared a little I know this is freaking her out more then she lets on her and mom were closer then most of us were to our mom. She sighed and stood next to ky. He gently pulls her into a side hug. "I know you miss her Winter.." she looks away as a little as a tear slips down her cheek. Wyatt gently wrapped her into a hug as she whimper a little. River sighed and leans on kolby more. "I hate this." "I know baby." He gently rubbed Rivers arms.
