*Holly's Pov*
Last night was a night full of mixed emotions. The emotions of me wanting to be Harry or not, the confusion on if he wanted to be with me. I just wasn't sure what was happening right now with us. Had he forgotten that break up we had two years ago?
I had to work today and I was dreading it. I hated my job. I walk into the resturant with my painful heels on and my fake smile on my face. I walk to the back and punch in and then grab my notebook and get to waitressing.
It was around lunch time when I see five familiar faces walk in. They get seated and I hear Louis request me as their waitress. Of course, Harry knew I worked here. I roll my eyes and walk up to their table. "Boys, what are you doing here?" I ask them.
"We wanted food and the best service in town." Harry said eyeing me up and down.
I giggle, "You always were the charmer." I say. "Well, can I take your order?"
They all say what they want, Niall wanting twice as much as the other boys and I walk back to the kitchen and place the sticky note on a counter where the cooks will look at it. I pour their beverages into cups and throw five straws on my tray before walking back out to their table.
Harry winks at me and I roll my eyes in response and place their drinks down in front of them. I looked around at the other tables I was waitressing to see if anyone needed assitance. Since it didn't really look like anyone needed me, I stood and talked to the boys for a little bit. I noticed a bunch of pairs of eyes staring me. It hadn't really occured to me that I was talking to the popular boy band that everyone was obsessed with, One Direction.
I skip back to the kitchen to get the boy's orders. I carefully place all the plates on the tray and walked back out to their table setting them down in front of them. This was so awkward serving them.
Buisness was going down and not many people were here, so I slid in the booth next to Harry. They smiled and we continued to talk just we had been. I pull the bill out of my pocket and set it down on the table. Once they finish I walk back to the kitchen to get a little bucket for all their plates, but when I come back they were gone. I pick up the bill along with the money. I now understood why they fled, they had left me a $100 tip. They knew I would of protested. Along with the money was a little sticky note.
Taking you out tonight. -Harry
I can't hide the smile on my face. I place the tip and the note in my pocket and carry the dirty dishes back to the kitchen. My boss comes out of his office and says, "Holly can I talk to you?"
I nod and follow him back into his office. He motions me to sit down and I do as told and he sits on his desk in front of me. "Holly, I saw you sitting on the job." he tells me.
"The place was empty and I had finished all I was suppose to for the time being." I explain.
He holds a finger up to me motioning me to stop talking, "Don't make up excuses. You have worked for us for a long time and you have been pulling stunts like these from the beginning." He pauses. "Your fired."
Fired? "You can't fire me. I've been a loyal employee for 3 years." I say with a harsh tone in my voice.
"Yes, a loyal employee I am letting go." He says simply.
A sarcastically laugh. "Fine, but for your information, those people I was sitting and talking to, were One Direction, people that could have made your buisness very popular. They only came here because I worked here." I laugh again. "But thats your loss." I immediately get up and walk out of his office slamming the door and throwing my apron on the ground and marching out of the building.
A part of me was glad to finally be able to walk out on that job, but then another part of me worries about if i'll ever find another one. Lord. help me.
