Fair Worker (Nagisa x Reader)

I am working on a few more one-shots at the moment, but I am still low on ideas, so if you could request, making stories would be much easier. I will give you more info at the end.

It was summer. Usually, students are ecstatic when summer comes around, but you weren't that excited. You were happy you didn't have to go to school but, your mom had gotten you a summer job because she "thought you needed something to keep you busy." Now you were stressing over having a summer job, and becoming a 3rd year in the upcoming school year.

You were currently standing in one of the game booths at your local fair. You would be slouching and pouting, but your boss had said to smile and act friendly, and you didn't want to anger him. He seemed like a scary man.

You'd had a few customers, mostly little kids wanting one of the amazing plushies at your booth. The others were guys about your age who were obviously checking you out. You just ignored all their flirting attempts and treated them like any other customer. The same group of guys had been coming back quite frequently and you were starting to get annoyed.

You were going to tell them off and say that they should leave if they aren't going to actually play the game but something caught your attention before you could even open your mouth. You had heard a somewhat high pitched voice squeal.

"Mako-chan! Let's go play that game, it has a cute penguin plush as a prize!"

You turned and saw a cute blond haired boy with magenta eyes pulling a larger boy with light brown hair and green eyes toward your booth. You smiled at the shorter boy's adorableness. This caused one of your admirers to get annoyed. He was mad that your attention was taken away from him. He was furious at the blond boy who had caught your attention.

"Do you want to play the game?" You asked sweetly, smiling.

"Oh! Not only are there cute prizes, Mako-chan, but there's a cute girl running the booth as well," Nagisa whispered to his friend. You over heard them and blushed. "Yeah, we are both going to play the game!" The boy cheered.

You giggled and took their money. You were going to start the game because you had enough people with the two who had just joined but something stopped you. The annoying guy who had been to your booth to flirt about three time spoke up.

"I'm going to play too!"

You were surprised that he wanted to play for once but nodded and took his money.

"Hey, if I win will, as a prize, will you be my girlfriend?" He smirked.

You were about to answer him but the blond interrupted you.

"I won't let you win! I will win that penguin!" He shouted pointing at the other guy.

"Nagisa, calm down. Please don't yell," Blondie's friend, Mako-chan, tried to shush him.

You just giggled at this. A light blush was apparent on Nagisa's face. He thought that your giggle was the cutest thing in the world. Even cuter than the penguin plush. The game was now full and so you started the game. Annoying and Blondie, who you now knew as Nagisa, were both close to winning. You were personally rooting for Nagisa because you didn't want the other guy to win, and because you thought Nagisa was absolutely adorable.

One of the two was slumping defeat and the other was cheering at his accomplishment. Nagisa's friend was patting his back. You had to holding all your screams so you didn't end up seeming like a weirdo. You couldn't help but giggle at the magenta eyed boy's cheering and how miserable the annoying guy was. You reached up and grabbed the penguin plush the boy had wanted so much.

Once his attention was turned back to you, he saw a sight that he had never seen before. (A/N: I just couldn't help myself!) You were leaning over the booth, smiling, and holding the penguin plush out to him.

"Congratulations, here's your prize!"

Nagisa thought you looked so adorable that he could help himself.

"Can I have your number as a prize instead?" He said, winking and trying to act sexy.

You giggled at his cuteness and grabbed a pen. You grabbed his arm and wrote your number on the back of his hand. He jumped for joy at what you just did and hugged you over the booth, turning your face a dark shade of red. He was about to walk off when you shoved the plush into his arms. He looked at you questioningly because he thought you had agreed that your number would be his prize.

"The penguin is your prize, the number is a bonus," you said, winking.

His face burned this time from the cuteness you had just shown. He nodded and started walking away with his friend cheering at the prizes he had just gotten. You just giggled. This summer wouldn't be as bad as you initially thought.

You had to remember to thank your mom later for getting you the job.

Sorry, this was somewhat short but it was so kawaii, so I hope you forgive me! I currently am trying to come up with one-shots for all the "main characters" before I post second one-shots of some of the characters.
