This is unbelievable. No one can find my son. It's been five hours since he disappeared, and as time goes by I feel like I'll never see him again.

"Bella.."

I turned to Damien with a look like I was going to shoot him at any moment. He can't call me while I'm in this state.

"You said not to worry that you would protect us, you promised me hills and valleys, just so I wouldn't get involved in things related to the mafia. Now tell me how you plan to get my son back? Do you realize that he's very young and that he needs his mom? I've been standing here for five fucking hours, my hands tied, I can't do anything, I don't know how to find him, I don't know where he is, who he's with, if he's okay, if he's cold, if he's hungry, if they're treating him well. Don't talk to me until I hear some news about Alessandro." I got up from my chair and left his office.

I will find my child myself, and I will end this war that has been going on for many years. Enough is enough.

Knowing Santiago, even the short time I know him, I am sure that I will get his call soon. I only hope that Alessandro is with him and that he is well.

I went to my room, sat on the bed and looked at my son's crib.

I just want to feel him.

What should I do, where should I look?

I started to walk nervously around the room, thinking about how to get to Santiago.

God, please give me a sign.

Please, give me something.

I stopped in one place in shock when I heard the sound of my cell phone. I quickly ran to the bedside table and picked it up. I looked at the screen, but it was not Santiago but Rossa.

"Rossa?" I don't feel like talking or being comforted because I'm getting my son back soon.

"Isabella, I heard what happened, Connor told me. Is there any new information? I'll be over to see you soon." I want to be alone.

Connor and Rossa are finally together. After all the arguing, fear, and fighting, they finally made it. I'm happy for them. Connor is a good person.

"We don't have any new information, I thought your call was actually to Santiago, but as you can see it wasn't. Whatever you want, I'm here." I answered her.

Santiago, when I find you, you'll wish you'd never been born.

"See you later." We ended the call and I threw my phone on the bed.

The nervousness, the panic, is only getting stronger inside me. I don't know how to calm down because I can't think straight.

The phone rings again. What did she forget to tell me?

I picked up the phone and answered her call.

"Tell Rossa."

"Rossa?" What's up with this call now.

"Rossa, can you hear me?" I can't hear anything.

"Isabella Lombardi Altimari. It's wonderful to hear your voice." SANTIAGO.

"WHERE IS MY SON AND ROSSA? WHAT DID YOU DO TO THEM?" I said loudly, after which I went to the bathroom and locked myself so that no one could hear me.

"Isabella!!!"

"What did you do to her?" She must be very scared.

"You have one hour to prepare the minimum things you need for yourself and my nephew. I'll wait for you that long, after one hour I'm leaving with your friend and my nephew. The address will be sent to you, and don't tell anyone, because believe me I'll know, I don't have just one spy." How? That's impossible, only now Damien is following me what I'm doing.

"How can I do it?" I hate him.

"That's your problem." He answered and ended the call.

That asshole. Die already.

I'm not so afraid for Alessandro because he's a baby and I know he won't hurt him, he's his nephew, but I'm not so sure about Rossa. Every step I take now will look suspicious and I only have one hour.

I took my backpack and started packing the things I needed the most. I left my room and headed towards the garage. I dressed normally as usual and the only thing strange about me was my backpack.

"Isabella, where are you going?" Elijah's voice stopped me. I turned and saw Elijah and Dmitri. Great, they were the only ones I needed.

"I'm going to Teresa's, to take some things to her, I can't do anything anyway." I answered hoping that they would believe my pathetic story, but no. Damien appeared behind them.

"Bella, where are you going when you know it's dangerous outside??" I know it's not his fault, but right now this is my only way out, so I'll shift the blame onto him, to make him feel bad.

"What do you care where I'm going? Am I asking you where you're going, do I know your daily plans? I'm under investigation. Only contact me if you get information about my son." I know I hurt him, and that in front of his friends who looked away from me, not knowing how to react. I turned around and continued towards the garage.

I got into my Mercedes Gle Coupe 63 AMG, and I hope they don't send anyone to follow me.

I hope this plan doesn't fail. I took my phone when I heard the notification and opened the message that came from Rossa.

The location of where they are.

I quickly pressed the location, but it shows me that I have half an hour to drive there, I won't make it.

Nervousness began to take hold of me, and my foot pressed the gas pedal itself. I literally flew out of the yard and sped down the road following the path on the map.

Why does this location show a beach? I've never been there.

I parked the car, grabbed my backpack, and started running toward the red dot on the map.

"Santiago!!" I started calling out to him, but nothing.

I'm not too late, am I?

"Aaah!!" I put my hand to my neck when I felt a sharp sting.

Trying to turn around, I just started losing strength and falling to the floor.
