Divya's POV

"This doesn't seem safe." I said grabbing tightly on the reins of the horse.

"It is safe... if you don't let go of the reins." Elizabeth said from the side on her own horse. Even though Elizabeth had told me she wasn't a fan of playing polo she did know how to and since her dad had asked her to come play a game with her, Elizabeth couldn't find it in herself to refuse him.

Me on the other hand, had never once my life, gotten on a horse till now—less of all hit a stupid ball with a hammer or whatever it is they use as I rode one. This game just sounded like a dead trap to me.

"If I didn't know you better I would think you wanted to kill me." I looked down at the man holding the reins of the horse as well as we moved.

"You don't have to ride it, I told you."

"Okay fine, I'm not going to. It was fun getting on this horse—but I'm done." I said.

"Alright." Elizabeth responded and looked at me expectantly with a smile on her face.

I groaned, "How the hell am I supposed to get down!" I shirked at the abrupt movement of the horse—which Elizabeth only found funny. "Elizabeth!"

"Love, stop screaming you are upsetting the horse." Elizabeth moved and hopped off her own horse—giving the reins of it to the man who was holding mine. "Come, I got you."

I moved one leg and jumped down the horse—Elizabeth's hands securely on my waist as she helped me get down. "That was romantic," I said with chuckle.

Elizabeth hummed and brought me closer to her. I stared into her beautiful brown eyes, that I've noticed would look lighter some days—I could stare at them all day though. I loved the way she looks at me, it makes me feel an indescribable feeling in my chest, along the most beautiful woman.

"What?" Elizabeth asked with a gentle smile as my hands remained locked behind her neck. She looked gorgeous in her white polo shirt, white pants and her long dark hair in a single braid that rested on her shoulder.

"Nothing, I'm just having a good time in this trip." I confessed.

"I'm relieved to hear that, love." She went and kissed me on the forehead. "After we leave England I'm taking you on one last surprise trip."

I raised a brow at her, "You do know I'm not on paid vacation, right?"

"And you do know that you can always accept the other half of our deal, right?" Elizabeth matched my look.

"I already told you no, I don't want it. I already have what I want." I smirked at the —surprising— faint blush that crept onto her cheeks. It was always beyond amusing to see Elizabeth flustered, accomplishing that always proved hard to do.

Before the trip Elizabeth had insisted to give me the other half of what we had agreed for the deal... but it just didn't feel right to accept. It was true, I already had what I wanted. And with the first half I had secretly paid some of my parents debts —that they'll notice one day— and gave back to Kaden the months of rent she paid on her own because I was unemployed, I still had a considerable amount in savings from that half—so money was the least of my concerns.

Certainly not my interest when it came to Elizabeth.

"You are so cute when you blush." I told her and kissed her lips. "Now, go play your rich people sport with your dad and I will be watching with your mom... from a horse free zone."

Elizabeth chuckled, "The horses are not bad."

"I did not say they were bad, I just think they are definitely not for me. Have fun." I moved to go out of the stable and meet her mom, but of course Elizabeth had to stop me and pull me back in.
