A/N - There comes a time when life intervenes and a creative block happens. That spark was lost for so long as this account and book sat with drafts, and no other parts being added, until inspiration from other writers, who wrote months ago, developed this imagine and the spark. My absence was unplanned, but I hope readers who have read my stuff before will enjoy seeing a new, fresh post and come back, especially as I hope to cook up more. <3

You were never one to pick up on hints when someone might be into you, because something like that had never really happened to you. You took it as someone being nice or civil, or someone being a gentleman.

In the case of Rafe, you took it as your brother's best friend simply being nice to the sister, even as of recently.

One

Tannyhill was packed with people enjoying themselves, countless hands holding red cups filled with whatever concoction was in them.

You had already drank a few cups, making the music seem louder than it was, and the strobing lights and sweaty bodies around you a bit unbearable. So, you decided to head up the stairs to one of the rooms since barely anyone was up there, partly due to the fact barely anyone was even allowed up there.

Time passes, and your brother was downstairs looking for you, furrowing his brows when he came up empty.

"Yo," Topper says, grabbing Rafe and Kelce's attention. "Have you guys seen my sister? I don't see her anywhere."

Rafe shook his head, keeping his usual aloof attitude. "No, I haven't."

"I actually saw her head up the stairs," Kelce followed up with, answering Topper's question.

That confused Topper more. "Up the stairs," he repeated. "Why would she go up there? She never once went up there before, and she knows that it is off limits."

"Off limits, but not to her," Rafe countered with. "She's allowed up there just like you and Kelce are."

"Still. It's not like her," Topper said before sighing and turning to Kelce. "I can't believe I am asking this, but did you see anyone else go up with her?"

A slight tension filtered between the three guys as the question got asked, one out of brotherly concern from Topper and another from whatever was going on with Rafe without being too noticeable.

"No. I just saw her go up," Kelce said, easing the tension.

"Why don't we just go up and check, then?" Rafe inquired after a moment.

After agreement, the three of them went up the stairs to see where you were as they went through the rooms, knocking on each door as to not startle you if you happened to be in there.

There was no response or movement behind any door that they could hear of, so it was a little confusing until Rafe opened a door to find you, asleep.

Asleep, in his room. On his bed.

"Guys, I think you want to see this!" Rafe called out to Kelce and Topper after taking a moment to take in the fact you were sleeping here of all places.

The other two came over, seeing what he was looking at, and bewilderment flashed across their faces for a second.

"Oh, look," Kelce said. "A girl found her way into Rafe's bed- Ow!"

This teasing remark, albeit lighthearted, earned him a sharp jab to his side from Rafe's elbow and an eyeroll from Topper.

"Well, it is your room, Rafe," Topper said. "What do you want to do?"
