After learning everyone's names, Lapis decided to go to sleep... Once Steven convinced Pearl to put a sound bubble on her. Without it would've been worse torture than being trapped in the mirror.
She heard banging at around 11:00 at night. It was Steven. Lapis. He mouthed. Come play Truth or Dare with us. Annoyed, Lapis asked what it was once out of the bubble. "I asked the same thing, Lapis!" Pearl gasped. "Yeah you both are clueless big nosed buzz kills. Get on with it, Steven." Amethyst groaned, flopping down onto his bed. "Okay... So, someone asks you Truth or Dare, and if it's truth, you have to honestly answer a question, if it's a dare, you have to do whatever they say." "It sounds fun Steven. Let's play." Garnet said in a monochromatic tone. "I'll go first. Amethyst, Truth or Dare?" "Dare." Amethyst responded in a hiss. "Turn into your favorite gem besides you for the rest of the game."
Amethyst paused for the longest time before shapeshifting into Rose. Her eyes became teary. She didn't glance at Steven, who stared at her until she spoke. "P-Pearl. Truth or dare..." "Truth." Pearl's voice was shakier than Amethyst's. "Do you care about me?" Amethyst poked her cheek and stuck out her tongue. "Yes!" Pearl gasped. The purple gem shape shifted into Pearl and screamed "WOMP!" Before shape shifting back into Rose again.
Pearl looked at Connie. "Connie. Truth or dare?" "Dare please." Connie murmured politely. "C-Connie..." Pearl laughed. "I dare you... To wear your nightgown... Backwards!" She burst out in laughter, but it obviously wasn't funny for anyone else. "Humph." Pearl rolled her eyes in embarrassment. "I have a dare for everyone!" Connie said. "I dare everyone to have... A midnight dance party!" Everyone ran outside.
The word 'dance' just reminded Lapis of fusing with Jasper into Malachite. But she could trust humans... Right? She let out a long sigh and slowly flew to the beach. It was pitch black except for a light coming out of each Crystal Gems' gems. Amethyst and Pearl were dancing. They fused, and shape shifted immediately to form a fusion who had rainbow hair and long socks. (I changed the appearance of Rainbow Quartz.)
"Lapis, come dance with Connie and me!" Steven said as the blonde and redhead started dancing. Away from each other of course.
Steven whirled her around and pulled her in close, his fest moving perfectly with the music. Lapis' wings left a trail of water in spirals behind them. He let go and went on to Connie, doing the same until a bright light emitted from them both, as they somehow fused into a tall statute woman that everyone applauded at. They unfused and bowed with smiles.
"That was amazing, Steven! Oh my gosh, you can fuse with humans! That's great! What's your fusion? Are you still Rose Quartz?" He nodded and then shook his head. "That's what our gem is, but we're called Stevonnie." "That's so cute, Steven!" Lapis smiled.
"Let's fuse." Steven took her hand. "I want to be your first good fusion." Lapis remembered fusing with other gems, such as Peridot, but she also remembered it wasn't a particularly good experience. "Okay." She breathed. "Let's do it."
Winking times 1000! Guesses what their fusion is? (Hint :: Pink + Blue = Purple)
