"A trident! Oh it's beautiful!" Pearl fangirled, distracted by the shimmering weapon to see Garnet and Japser's battle.
"Again you pathetic piece of fused sh-" Jasper was stopped by not Garnet, but Lapis. "WHY DID YOU STEAL MY WEAPON?" She spat out tears and sobs. "It's powerful. So much energy was saved from it's rest! It's nearly as powerful as Rose Quart's shield!" Jasper grinned, panting.
"How could it possibly fit in your gem?!" She demanded, pulling on the trident desperately. "Silly gem. I will combine the weapons, you see." "That's ridiculous." Garnet spoke. "You can't combine weapons."
"No. She can. Just not MY weapons!" Lapis roared with fury. Her eyes glowed as she wrung dense water chains around Jasper and tugged her back. Jasper at this time was getting ready to use her weapon. Lapis smiled at this attempt, ordering ocean water to slip it off.
"What are you doing, Lapis?!" Steven gasped in surprise. "I'm going to become the strongest gem that ever lived." Her eyes glowed darker. She slipped her trident into the other gem's helmet. It glowed brightly before whipping around itself.
"Not bad." Lapis cackled, holding a slim axe in her blue hands. She ran it through the water, breaking the space time barrier into a portal and walking through. "Oh no! Lapis! No!" Steven begged.
"Steven. She's not 'Lapis'. She's Lapis Lazuli. And she is not your friend, or any gem's." Garnet told him sternly with a sigh.
