As Lapis plummeted down the sky, she took huge breaths and started to sing ever so softly as everything else was quiet...
"I..."
Her breathing slowed.
"...Am a crystal gem."
She didn't look to to Steven or anyone else.
"And I can save the day. And if you think I can't... I'll somehow find a way. That's why the people... Of this world..."
She took in a big breath.
"Will love."
"Lapis Lazuli."
She broke the surface of the ocean.
