"Grr... Gah!" Lapis panted when Jasper started struggling.

"This is weird." She thought she heard Steven. "This is weird." She repeated, shaking her head. She sees him, though. "Steven?!" "Lapis?" (These lines will not be directly from Chille Tid, but imagine they are.) Lapis turned around to see Steven. "Steven! What are you doing here?" "I'm..." Steven stopped for a while and shook his head.

"It's okay I'm just dreaming!" He laughed. She breathes heavily. "No... I'm... I'm trying to concentrate!" She closed her eyes, and he was gone.

She saw green water bubbling from the ocean and put water cuffs on, tugging as hard as she could on them. "Steven! Why do you keep coming back? Don't you get it? I've got to keep her down under the weight of this planet's ocean! I've got to keep her---" She grunted with effort as Jasper let out a heaving push, being pulled underwater.

She looked up at the platform. She saw a blurry Steven confronting a blurrier Jasper. Their words were gurgles. Ejecting her wings, Lapis flew up as hard as she could, landing in front of Steven. "Lapis, I can help!" Steven sobbed. "Can't you see? I don't want your help!" "Lapis... Please?"

Lapis took in short breaths. "Just let me do this for you!" She said. "Lapis!" Steven repeated. "I'm not... Lapis anymore..." She wrapped her wings around her, getting ready to fuse with the helpless Jasper. A whirlwind of water flowed at her feet.

"We're Malachite now."

She plummeted into Jasper, reaching her several arms out of the platform as she only saw green. Her hair grew out and she turned to face a shocked and horrified Steven. "GO!" She shrieked.

He disappeared.

"I'm sorry Steven. I love you..."
