i'm not that busy too, just revised some materials from physiology
so yeah i might just go
seungho: okay. i'll wait for you.
cancel on me if you feel weird.
see you
agh. that was a sudden call. i closed my laptop and rearranged my table. i didn't know what to expect from him, but id wanna hope it wasnt something terrible. what does he wanna say? and.. what did jae wanted to say that day.. i couldnt guess. i'll back away if i feel uncomfortable. yes. please let this be a good day.
"mom i'm heading out," i said as i wore my shoes.
"are you hanging out with your friends?" she asked, smiling. "i'm uh.. going to meet my physics tutor from college," i simply said the truth, i can never lie to mom.
"ohh!! the one you had a crush on??" of course she knows.. sigh. she was expecting something too. "he seemed like a nice dude when he came by to check on you that day.. anyways, have a good time!" she said as i nodded and headed out. nice guy huh.. despite saying almost everything to her i couldnt say how he treated me.
i sighed, walking by the street as i looked down. for a very long time, i had wanted to know him. know everything about him, his faults, his flaws as well as his bright side too. maybe that was just annoying of me. or probably selfish.. just cutting him off because he wasnt aligning with my thoughts huh.. i never really heard him out. it was also not entirely my fault either, of course he had faults too. defending him would be wrong and of no use. i'm still proud of my decision of that day, to cut him off untill he had the courage to call me up again after working on himself. it doesnt matter if i made the right decision. what matters more is how he learns to adapt by himself.
i eventually reached his apartment... memories flooded in my mind as i reached out for the doorbell. the second time i met him through ilsung. heh.. i instantly fell for him.
he opened the door. he was in his regular clothes with his messy blue hair again. the difference was the color of his shirt and..
woah.. was it only me or he got buff?
"come in," he said, snapping me out of my thoughts. i wanted to slap myself on the face but i just nodded and went in. he closed the door. his apartment didnt look gloomy at all, just like the always neat and clean ones. he still had his gaming room, didnt know whether he even got time for that by then anymore. there remained the piano as well.
"wanna play a game or..?" i realized i got distracted by his room. "n-no. i was just looking," i replied. "if you do though, i have plenty of time for now. not sure you have though," he said, making his way to the fridge to grab something. i went to the room i studied with him.
he came back with cans of cold juice. orange juice. "here,"
"thanks.."
"so.. how have you been?" he asked. "quite okay.. just stressed over too many exams, how about you?" i asked back and took a sip. "quite the same. just became old," he replied.
"...and tried my best to become better for you, if that's worth mentioning," he added. "that is.. worth mentioning." i assured. "so.. what were you gonna say to me?" i went to the topic. even though i was extremely nervous.
