(Chapter 5) Part 1: Run Nearic Run

Huggy slams his hand against the glass, cracking it more and more as Red Smoke fills the room.

"Shit!" Huggy roars, "We need to get out of here!" Catnap shouts.

Huggy shoulder checks the door, denting it inwards, "No duh!" Nearic screams, the glass cracking further as Huggy continues his assault, the door bending inward more and more before-

CRASH

Huggy's right arm shatters the window of the door and smacks Catnap across the face, forcing him to crash into the right wall and shatter the vials and vases on the counter, the cupboards breaking apart and falling to the floor.

"Catnap!" Nearic cries as Huggy's arm flails around the room, smashing the TV and leaving it sparking on the floor.

Huggy reaches for the door and tries prying it open but quickly pulls back once it doesn't work. He roars through the opening before bashing against the door again; the metal already giving way for the massive toy.

Nearic steps back upon finally assessing the situation, "Not good, not good!"

Catnap groans and crawls back a bit, keeping his nephew away from the quickly failing door. He looks around frantically, looking for a way out, then spots the door behind them not opening. Thinking back to the tape, he concludes it's not going to open on its own, "Get down!"

Pulling his left hindleg back, he quickly bangs it against the back door, Nearic barely ducking it time to avoid it. The door bends outward with a clang before Catnap kicks it again, "When this door – CLANG – opens, you run like hell. CLANG I'll keep him occupied!" CLANG

"What?!" Nearic exclaims in outrage, "But-"

Another shoulder check from Huggy interrupts the teen, the door's top right corner denting inward, letting Huggy slowly reach for it.

"There's not time!" Catnap kicks the door with extra effort.

The backdoor gets ripped off its hinges and clangs a few feet down the hall, "Now!"

Nearic hesitates for a moment before seeing Huggy squeezing his way in, only for Catnap to pin him between the door and the wall, "GO!" he roars, the static depth shacking Nearic to his bones; making him grab his phone and run out of there.

Catnap throws Huggy into the left wall, completely destroying the cupboards and counter, before winding up a downward haymaker; only for Huggy to whack Catnap with his left arm and chase Nearic.

The teen turns the corner and follows the only path he can, through the center of the burning, collapsed hallway. Jumping over fallen tiles and weaving around burning rubble before sliding through a narrow hole in the wall. He quickly glances back as Huggy roars again, about to reach the wall, only for Catnap to slap him through a different one out of Nearic's view.

"Keep running, I'll catch up!" the feline shouts before throwing rubble into the hole.

Nearic growls in frustration before running again, following up the metal mesh path and ducking into some air ducts. Spotting Huggy and Catnap fighting below him, Nearic grits his teeth as he tries to hurry away, but the haste he gives damages the surface below him and gives way, sending him tumbling onto a conveyor belt on the other side of a glass wall. Separating him from the toys.

Both toys spot him, but Catnap reacts first, slashing at the blue toy and punching him towards a wall, "Keep moving!" he shouts, before charging at the toy.

Nearic nods and looks ahead, spotting two crushers blocking his way, carefully making his way through, he runs into a third which has jammed. Quickly looking round, he spots another path around it blocked by metal sheets. Smirking, he vaults over them as Huggy and Catnap crash through a wall where Huggy grabs the stunned Catnap by the pendant and uses him like a battering ram to break the glass separating the human from the toys just as Nearic vaults over back onto the conveyor belt.
