Overdue Check-Up (Poppy Playtime) [On Hold]

[Chapter 5] Part 21: Escape the House Ep. 2

Nearic grabs Dan's back and shoves him forward as Kissy runs up the stairs, with Poppy in her arms, "Go go!" Dan stumbled forwards, but quickly catches himself and runs after Kissy, Nearic close behind.

Dan held his wounded shoulder as he kept up with the toy, but as they got onto the second floor a braid suddenly broke through the wall ahead of them and nearly struck Dan. They turned right to avoid it, but as Kissy passed a set of double doors, they suddenly opened and Lilly ran out, and stopped ahead of them, eye sbloodshot.

"Nope!" the elder shouted before turning around, spotting the braid had receded as the door behind it opened.

"In there!" Nearic shouted, passing his brother.

Lilly screamed as she gave chase, "THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!"

"We didn't even want to be here!" Dan shouted back as they entered the back catwalks, "You literally forced us into your house!"

Nearic slammed the door shut and looked both ways, "Go right, now!" he yelled as he vaulted over the overturned furniture.

Dan scrambled through as blood ran down his arm, smearing it with red, "YOU'RE GOING IN THE BAD TOY BOX!" Lilly threatened.

They turned the corner and crawled through more blockage before the catwalk suddenly gave way and snapped off the wall, leaving a large gap in the path, "Oh shit, come on!" Dan roared.

Nearic looked ahead and spotted a magnet wall, "Hang on," he grabbed Dan's good hand soaked in blood and fired the other hand to the wall.

They turned a corner as Lilly started counting down. They followed the path and entered back into the house, just past the double doors on the other side. They saw Catnap hop up onto the distant path, with Dogday assisting him, before the latter spotted them.

The brothers kept running and saw the path ahead had been pulled away at some point, which only further collapsed under Catnap's clambering, "Hurry, I'll you up!" Dogday shouted as he grabbed the doorway beside him. Catnap quickly stepped up to the ledge as the brothers approached frantically, Lilly hot on their heels, and leaned forward as far as he could, while Dogday held on tight to his injured tail.

The feline reached out both paws and shouted, "Jump, now!" they did, leaping off their ledge from their running start, and Catnap caught them both in each paw.

Dogday yanked them back, sending the feline crashing onto his back as Lilly screamed, "It's the bad toy box for you!"

Dogday growled as he broke off a part of the wall, and chucked it at her, "Burn in hell!"

The debris hit Lilly just as she had jumped towards them, knocking her off balance and sent her tumbling back onto the other ledge, "Come on, move!" he pointed to their exit as the brothers left Catnaps grasp.

The humans ran out before the toys followed, "Bad boy!" Lilly screamed.

The brothers leaped over a crevice in the floor and neared a window Nearic had broken earlier, but as they approached, Lilly broke down the door on their left and screamed in rage, "Oh fuck me!" Nearic cried as they jumped through the window into the observation room.

Catnap chucked the blue seal trumpet at her, forcing her back into the hallway, "Bad kitty!"

They ran into the hallway and neared the attic, "Dad, Catnap, get us up there now!"

The toys ran faster and hauled them onto their backs before leaping into the attic, "Keep running!" Catnap shouted.

"I'll make a bigger exit!" Dogday shouted as he ran towards the small window on the far side of the room.
