James pov
We have been sitting in the living room for about 30 minutes. I'm sitting next to Riley on one couch, while her parents sit next to Emily on another. I'm sitting up straight with my hands on my lap. I didn't want to annoy Mr.Raymond in any way. He was very protective od his youngest daighter, as expected, but that made it really hard to make a good first immpression. I keep reminding myself that Riley is worth it, even though I know I'd never forget.
"So James," Mr.Raymond says suddenly, almost making me jump. "Tell me a little about yourself."
I'd prepared for these kinds of questions and knew just how to answer them.
"Well, I'm Emily's age and in my third year of highschool, just one year older than Riley. I have three younger sisters, Tia which is 13, Grace and she's 11 and Brittany which is 6." I say smiling politely.
"We can't wait to meet them." Mrs. Raymond says and I smile and nod.
"Where do you see yourself in 5 years?" Mr.Raymond asks.
I don't know what to say, so I pretend to think about it a little. I know I said I was prepared for these questions, but I didn't know this was a job interview. Like really Mr.R? Really?!
"Um, I want to start a dance company, and maybe own a studio. I'm not sure yet but I want my job to be dance related."
"That's nice." Says Mrs.Raymond, but Mr.Raymond just stares at me sourly and nods. I smile sheepishly.
Riley's pov
James is doing well. He's actually doing better than I thought he would. And its halarious! Hes being so well mannered and polite. Hahaha. Emily and I are trying not to die of laughter there and then. He's so hot when he's polite. James's face every time dad asked him a question was priceless. He was a mixture of scared and confused. It was hilarious. Emily and I are desperately trying to hold it in. After 30 minutes of my dad questioning James, we decide to have dinner. I can see the relief in James' eyes.
We had steak. And after that my parents decide that James and I should have some alone time together. I'm taking him up the stairs to my bedroom.
"Keep that door open, young lady!" Dad calls up the stairs. James bites his lip.
"Got it." I yell back, rolling my eyes.
"You're doing great." I say, once we reach my purple bedroom.
"I hope you're dad agrees." He chuckles. "It's so hard to make a first impression."
"I know, baby." I say govomg him a sympathetic smile. "I never knew you could be so polite, though."
He smirked raised an eyebrow.
"It's sexy." I say sitting next to him. We kiss for about 3 seconds.
"Haha thanks. I try." He says.
"No problem. You know if this goes well, we can officially announce .. us.. at the studio." I say happily. "Maybe tomorrow night at the sleepover?"

I smile from ear to ear. I can't believe I get to annouce that the most beautiful girl in the world is mine, even though most of A troupe were suspicious anyway. She's mine and I won't lose that. Ever.
After 20 minutes in Riley's room. I decide its time to go home. I thank her parents for having me and tell her mother that dinner was delicious. Her father starts warming up to me, gives me a smile and even calls me "son". I'm pretty sure that it's one of the happiest moments of my life. It couldn't have gone better and I'm glad.
