Rileys pov
"Guys, we need to do our best regionals, me and Chris noticed that not all of you have chemistry." Miss Kate says. "That's why we're doing duets. We will decide the pairs."
"Meanwhile you guys just strech." Chris says, ignoring all our complaints.
I go over to James. He hugs me tightly from behind.
"Hey goreous." He says.
"Heym" I reply, blushing. "Do you think we'll be paired up together?"
He nods. "Definantly. Don't even worry about it, we will be."
I was about to reply, when I see Miss Kate hang a paper on the wall. Just like the rest of A Troupe, I race over to it. I'm not too happy about what I see:
Michelle - Tiffany
Stephanie - Eldon
West - Chloe
Emily - James
Daniel - Riley
"You can start practising." Chris informs us. But instead of rehearsing, all of A troupe are complaining. Except for Daniel, whos just standing there, smirking at me.
"We chose the partners because we wanted the people with the least chemistry to work together." Kate says. Chris does the dolphin tale, the room is quiet.
"This is how it will work." He says. "Michelle, Tiffany, Stephanie and Eldon get to share studio A."
"Studio b is shared by B troupe, who have a competition, and West and Chloe." Kate tells us "The music room is for Daniel, Riley, Emily and James."
James pov
I'm worried about Riley being paired up with Daniel. I have caught them kissing before and I'm not too crazy about them dancing together. I do trust Riley, it's Daniel I'm worried about. I need to make it clear to him that shes mine. Always has been, always will be. I gazed at them practising their routine, working in sync.
"It's okay James." Emily says, noticing how I'm staring. "Don't you trust Riley?"
I nod but keep staring. They have great chemistry, their moving together. Their dance is almost flawless. The thing is, their styles are very similar, and the way they dance is almost identical.
"James, they have Studio B for 45 more minutes. I'm going to Squeezed with Steph and Eldon. Wanna come?" Emily yells.
I need to get my mind off Riley and Daniel. So I nod and run to join them. Beats standing here and sulking, right?
Eldon and I are sitting at a table alone. I have a strawberry drink in my hand. Eldons talking to me but I'm not paying any attention.
"Yo, man, what's up?" He asks me.
"Dude, Riley's doing a duet with Daniel."
"So, you know she'd never do something like that again. She knows how lucky she was that you forgave her."
I scratch the back of my neck. "Man, I caught them kissing in the costume closet once, what would stop him from making another move?"
"Oh, ummm, I dunno." He said and with that he got up and ran away. Typical Eldon. I walk over to Emily.
"We have have the music room in 10 minutes." I say "I'll meet you there."
She rolls her eyes at me. "Whatever."
I head up to the music room. It took about 8 minutes to get there, since I ran into Beth, my annoying ex. Ugh, i hate her. The doors were already open so I just walked in. I see Daniel holding Riley close. Their face just inches apart. And slowly I see him lean in. She leans in too. My heart crumbles as i watch them slowly kiss. I see Emily approaching but I don't care I just push past her.
Emily's pov (special pov)
I was going to meet James in the music room. I see him running towards me and open my mouth to say something, but he just keeps on running. Ive never seen him look so lost and sad. So broken. I don't know where he's going either, but I decide to go to the music room and stretch untill he gets back. But as soon as I go in I see Daniel and Riley kissing. I freeze as they pull away. How could Riley do this? I feel really bad even if it's for James. This is not good. Riley really likes James. She loves him. How is she going to fix this?
