James pov (next day)
I know what I did was wrong. But I was really mad. I bumped into Beth and I was just so hurt that I kissed her. I don't know what to do or say. Should I date Beth? Get back with Riley? But what about Daniel? All these questions were running through my mind. I west came up to me.
"Dude, we have rehearsals." He said
"I know man. I'll be there in a sec." I replied.
"Bro, what's up? You're like a butterfly that has peanutbutter on it's wings."
"Girl troubles." He sighs.
"Wow, I never thought you, the James Tordjman, would ever have girl troubles." He says. "But seriously what happend?"
"Riley kissed Daniel." I said. "Again."
"Oh man, that's harsh." He shakes his head. "We should go to practise. I'll take you to Squeezed later. Drinks on me. She's not with it, bro." He says dragging me to studio A.
Rileys pov
James is very late. I mean VERY late. Emily is about to burst, today was duet day. I'm honestly really worried about him. I wonder where he could be. Probably with Beth. I hated her so much. I mean I know the break up was my fault. But it hurts to know that he moved on so fast. I was willing to do whatever to get us back together, but he just went ahead and kissed another girl.
After a few minutes, I see James and West walk in.
"Ok, now we can FINALLY start rehearsals. " Emily says, and she glares at James. He glares at me for a second then rolls his eyes.
"So, first duet on our list are Michelle and Tiffany." Kate says. Michelle and Tiffany'a duet is actually pretty amazing. I mean, I didn't pay too much attention as I was looking at James most of the time. I caught him looking back, I smiled. But he just looked at me coldly. His eyes were filled with hurt and betrayal. I felt awful. He looked away.
Soon enough it was my turn to dance with Daniel.
"Riley, Daniel, you're up."
James pov
Their duet was amazing. I didn't want it to be. They just had so much chemistry. They had a connection. I wanted to cry.
"She's not worth it, bro." Eldon told me as he placed a hand on my shoulder. I shook my head.
" It's hard." I reply.
"Yeah, but you need to move on. She clearly has."
I thought about that. Eldon was right. I had to move on.
"Last but not least Emily and James." Miss Kate says. I get up and start to dance. I spot Riley staring at me a few times during the dance. And once it's over, she walks up to me.
"Hey James. Can we talk?" She says.
"Wouldn't you rather be talking to your boyfriend over there?" I say coldly, pointing at Daniel. And with that I walk away.
