Your POV

"Y/N! Come on!" My best friend and international pop star, Dinah Jane Hansen shouts to me excitedly as she descends into the building of Capital FM.

You see, Dinah and I became friends on one of her and the girl group she's in, (Fifth Harmony), trips to England. I don't know what it was, but we kind of just clicked, and ever since then, we've been good friends. Obviously I live in England and she in America, so it's hard for us to keep in contact, but we manage to do it.

Now, her and the girls are visiting England again, for a radio interview tour, which means that I can see Dinah. What she doesn't know is that I like her a little more than a friend. To be fair, you would too if you knew her.

She's one of the funniest, most beautiful girls I've ever met, and I'm lucky that she's my friend. Too bad she's straight and probably doesn't even think of me in that way.

"You're never usually this excited for interviews, DJ," Lauren points out as we all follow the excited blonde into the building.

"Yeah, but that's because Y/N is never with us," she states in an obvious tone, pointing to my flustered self.

"If only Y/N is there when you wake up every morning..," Normani mumbles under her breath, causing the girls to nod in agreement and myself to laugh. I know how difficult Dinah supposedly is when being woken up.

"For that one, I've got a prank up my sleeve, Mani," Dinah smirks at Normani who rolls her eyes in response, but you can see she is slightly fearful.

Dinah really isn't the best person to annoy because she will prank you without a trace of remorse. Trust me. I know from first hand experience.

"So, what happens in these interviews, usually?" I ask Dinah who pulls my hand into her grasp, not that I mind.

She shrugs as we walk down the hallways of the building. "The usual. Questions about our music, the tour, anything really. It's pretty boring, sometimes because it's the same questions every time."

I nod my head, internally getting excited because I've never actually witnessed a radio interview before.

When we find the correct room, the girls and the radio hosts converse with the usual greetings and introductions, and I do the same. After everyone is acquainted with each other, the girls take a seat at their microphones and I sit on a spare chair on the side, having an easy view of them all.

"Good morning, Manchester!" The radio host, Rachel, begins with a cheery voice. "I hope you're all doing well today, and if not, you will be when you find out who we have on the show."

I find it pretty cool how I listen to this exact same show every morning, and here I am, watching it all in progress. That's all thanks to Dinah, I guess.

"That's right, Fifth Harmony are in the studio with us today!"

On cue, the girls say a bunch of different greeting in their microphones, causing me to crack a smile at how inaudible they are. That's just how they are.

"So, girls," Rachel begins with a smile. "How are you finding England so far?"

"It's awesome!" Ally grins as she speaks in her microphone. "We're grateful to be here and I think I'm speaking for us all if I say we are having an amazing time."

The girls nod their heads in agreement and Rachel nods to show she is listening.

"That's great to hear. We're lucky to have you! Now, what's your favourite thing so far? One by one."
