Your POV
To: Y/BF/N
I'm stuck. I need help with my homework and it's my worst subject - Maths. -_- Can you help?I placed my phone down on my bed and looked at the exercise book in my lap, probably for the millionth time in the past five minutes. I folded back the dark red cover, minding the torn corners that betrayed it's excessive use - it could rip at any given minute. I had been sat, staring at the same algebraic problem that was scrawled in my messy, unkept handwriting and it was as if it was mocking me, the blankness of where the answer should be, clear and clean, waiting to be attacked by my black ink pen.
Before I hurt my brain anymore by staring at it too long, my phone vibrated and sent shivers up my leg. I picked it up and opened the text message from my best friend, Y/BF/N.
From: Y/BF/N
I can't do maths my self, dude. But do you know who can help? :pTo: Y/BF/N
Who..?From: Y/BF/N
Fifth harmony!!I sighed at her response and rolled my eyes. Y/BF/N has a huge, and I mean huge, obsession with the girl group Fifth Harmony. She's a 'harmonizer' and she will literally take any moment in a conversation to bring them up. So, I'm not really surprised she mentioned them right now.
From: Y/BF/N
You should try asking them for help. They're really cleverTo: Y/BF/N
Because you know them on a personal level and all, don't you? (Hint the sarcasm)From: Y/BF/N
Right, I don't appreciate the sarcasm, Y/N. Bye.I laughed to myself, locking my phone and throwing it on my bed. It was always fun to bug her, especially because I knew she hated my sarcasm.
I spent the next twenty minutes texting literally every contact in my phone, asking if they could help me with my homework. They all replied, thankfully, but the response was to come up with some lame excuse as to why they couldn't help. I didn't blame them, to be honest; maths wasn't exactly the most appealing subject.
Eventually, I ended up retweeting random things on my Twitter, knowing I would never find the answer. As the clock in the corner of my laptop screen showed it was hitting ten at night, I knew I either had to think up a valid reason to tell my teacher as to why I didn't do my homework, or find someone to do it for me.
Desperate times called for desperate measures.
I typed in 'Fifth Harmony' in Twitter and the first account to appear was their band account. I wasn't following them, and the icon beside their name was almost begging me to hit follow. I didn't, though. What's the point? I didn't really like them that much. Yeah, I liked, at most, two of their songs, but that's about it. I'm not as into them as I would have expected because Y/BF/N constantly talked of them and so had put me off. I don't know.
The name underneath their band account were the accounts of the members of the band. I didn't really know their names, so I clicked on the one at the top. Some girl called Lauren? I recalled hearing that name from Y/BF/B's fangirl rants, but that was about it.
Her profile picture was of who I assumed was her. She had a portion of her face covered by long, dark flowing hair, and her green eyes, or eye in that case, was what caught my attention. They were so bright and enticing and I could probably stare at them forever. But, her maroon painted lips grabbed my attention next, making her lips appear fuller and plumper. God, she was beautiful. Her face seemed familiar and that's when I remembered seeing pictures of her, along with her band mates, in magazines that Y/BF/N always showed me. I didn't really pay attention much, though. I regret not doing that.
I scrolled down her account, scanning her tweets with my eyes. She didn't tweet as often, but when she did, they were either sarcastic, funny comments directed at her band mates, or small paragraphs, expressing her thoughts on certain issues. She seemed to be quite eloquent and understanding, and her passion on certain issues was very attractive. I could tell what Y/BF/N meant about them being smart. If Lauren was like this, what would the others be like?
Knowing this was my last resort before lying to the teacher the following day, I opened a fresh tweet and did what I never thought I would do. But, once again, desperate times called for desperate measures.
@Y/T/N: A little birdy told me you were pretty clever, so what do you say to helping me with my homework? @laurenjauregui
I knew I wouldn't get a reply. I mean, millions of other harmonizers practically dedicated hours on end to being noticed by the girls, so there was no way I would get a response that easily. But, I was running out of options, and it couldn't hurt to try, right?
Once I sent the tweet off, I opened a new tab on my browser and tried my absolute final attempt: googling the answer. Google have everything, so I thought that maybe they would have my specific question of my maths homework. After a good five minutes of searching through endless amounts of webpages, trying to make sure I don't give my computer a virus by 'downloading a brand new update' for weird softwares, I stopped. I guess that's what I deserved for trying to cheat.
It was getting later and later and I had school the following day, so I knew I had to go to sleep. I was pretty cranky if I didn't get a good sleep.
I shut my tab down and was about to close my Twitter tab, too, but something caught my eye. I had a notification. I never got Twitter notifications because I rarely used it, so this definitely caught my interest. I clicked on it, only to find I had a new follower. But not from just anyone, from Lauren Jauregui herself.
Woah.
I wasn't exactly ecstatic as Y/BF/N would probably be, but I was pretty shocked. I had just been noticed by some celebrity who was pretty hard to get the attention of. I guess I just got lucky.
Before I could physically react, a message popped up on my screen, informing me that I had received a new Direct Message. From Lauren Jauregui. Hesitantly, I opened it up and read the message aloud, just to make sure this was real.
@laurenjauregui: so, what homework is it? Please don't say it's history, because I was never good at that aha

So, someone asked for a Lauren imagine and this came to mind. It has three parts, so let me know if you like it? :)
EDIT: this is now a story, so check it out if you want! :)
