Demi:
Dude where the hell are you?!

Miss J is gonna hate you even more if you don't come

She already hates you y/n, don't give her more reason to

Okay you're literally fifteen minutes late what's going on

I snickered to myself as I locked my phone, not bothering to respond seeing as I was waltzing through Miss. Jauregui's classroom door right now. As expected, all eyes were on me when they saw I was late. They were probably surprised seeing as I was never late, like ever. At least not without a valid excuse. However, their reactions weren't what I was after.

"Class, return to your work," the impatient tone of Miss. Jauregui's voice was heard.

I bit my lip to contain my amusement. It was her reaction that I was after. She was watching me from her desk, her green eyes glistening, even from here, with annoyance. As I was about to walk in and take my seat beside a wide-eyed Demetria, Miss. Jauregui shook her head and was already walking towards me.

"Outside. Now."

I raised my hands defeatedly, though a teasing smile was on my lips, and backtracked myself to the door. I felt her presence right behind me, and the frustrated vibe she happened to be giving off. Waiting in the hall by the lockers, I saw as she shut the door to her classroom before turning around to glare at me with her piercing gaze.

"Care to explain why you're almost twenty minutes late to my class?"

She crossed her arms over her chest whilst glaring at me furiously. It was quite odd to see her like this seeing as with every other student she had, she was the complete opposite – always smiling and cheerful. It was just me she happened to hate.

I shrugged. "I didn't feel like coming?"

Her mouth opened a little as she seemed taken aback by my answer. I didn't tear my gaze away from hers as I was waiting for her to let our conversation (or should I say her grilling me) from yesterday come to mind. Maybe she would understand why I was acting like this and start being mature.

"This is very immature behaviour, Y/N," she responded, almost as if reading my mind. "Are you seriously asking for another detention?"

I rolled my eyes, shifting the weight of my bag onto my fingers rather than my shoulders. "I don't care, if I'm being completely honest. Now can we actually start the lesson?"

She gritted her teeth as if containing her need to yell at me. "The lesson started twenty minutes ago."

I faked a grin. "Then what are we doing out here? Come on!"

Not giving her the chance to respond, I pushed past her gently and made my way back into her classroom, only to notice everybody was silent. I chuckled when I realised that they had heard our whole conversation. When Miss. Jauregui entered behind me, they pretended they were talking again, only humouring me even more.

I took a seat beside Demi as I felt the green-eyed girl's glare fixated on me. Demi looked like she wanted to ask me what the heck just happened, but didn't want to say anything for fear Miss. Jauregui would hear or say something. So, I sent her a look resembling "I'll tell you later", then she caught me up on what I had missed.
