"I'm not doing it."

"Yes, you are."

"Are you a chicken?"

I looked to the petite brunette and raised an eyebrow. The smirk she was wearing remained on her lips, and she crossed her arms, challenging me with her gaze.

"You know I'm not a chicken, Ariana," I stated indifferently, crossing my arms, too.

"Then do it," Demi chimed in, wearing her signature smirk. "You owe it to us, technically." As she moved a strand of her long, red hair out of her eyes, it revealed her brown eyes. One would think they are adorable and cute, right? But they were the complete opposite. And right now, I could see the mischief glistening in them.

"She's right," Shay finalised. "You lost the bet, so you abide by the consequences."

"By doing something that is completely stupid and embarrassing?" I deadpanned at the taller girl. "You're kidding me, right?"

The three girls shook their heads and smiled mischievously, leaning against their lockers. From where I was standing, they resembled apprentices of Satan himself. Why did I have to make a bet with them in the first place?

I sighed and cautiously glanced to my left, past the roaming students in the hallway. As soon as we walked into the school building, the three devil-children caught sight of a new student, and that is when they formulated their plan of embarrassing me for life. I could see her now, talking to the headteacher. She nodded her head every few seconds, signalling that she was listening to the old man, and a beautiful smile was on her lips.

Even from here, I could see that she was in good shape, which was highly accentuated by her black pencil skirt and neatly pressed, tucked in white blouse. Her dark hair looked naturally wavy, and it fell down her shoulders and back luxuriantly. Her obviously-freshly manicured nails were clutching a cup of coffee, and I was curious to know why she hadn't gotten it confiscated yet. Probably because she was new. The girls and I also wondered why she was dressed so formally for school, but I came to the conclusion that she was most-likely one of those smarty-pants students that always wore sweater vests, blouses, and ties.

That only made my job harder.

"Fine," I snapped, looking to the three smirking ladies. "But bear in mind that this will not only be embarrassing for me, but also extremely awkward for her. Are you sure you want that?" I raised an eyebrow, hoping to change their mind and guilt-trip them. "To make the new girl feel insanely awkward on their first day?"

"Yep."

The fact that they all spoke at the same time, made me send a glare their way before taking a deep breath and turn on my heel. It'll be fine. Just a few corny pickup lines won't hurt anyone, right?

I began my walk to the new student and saw that the headteacher had finished speaking to her, leaving her to stand there alone, looking at a white paper in her hand, presumably her timetable. I could her the girls' giggles from behind me and tried to block them out as I continued my walk around other students.

"Hey," I spoke up once I reached her, offering a smile. "You new here?"

She looked up to see who was talking to her, and I swear I missed a breath when I saw how vibrant and beautiful her blue-green eyes were. I already had trouble looking people in the eyes when I spoke to them, so you can imagine how hard it was to keep eye contact with her. Now that I was closer to her, it was easy to say that she was absolutely stunning. I already knew that the guys, and probably girls, too, would be chasing after her.
