I found myself wondering about the time Lyde and I looked at each other, the way his lips twitched into almost a faint smile. I wonder if he ever knew how to smile, his face almost always seemed focused, stern.

Where as Spencer, he had smile lines that were almost evident, his smile made you feel welcomed, warm and made you want to see it often.

Having feelings for someone and then was it attraction?, I couldn't really rack my brain to focus on what everyone else here from the radio gang were on about. 

Daisy, Natalia and Stacey including Staceys boyfriend had tagged along with us, apparently they had a  free period, while Natalia and I had to prove ourselves to the radio team. So, I mostly worked with Spencer on specific topics that would capture more conversations and deter the audience away from conspiracies and more focused on not too many attacks. 

Natalia, was helping out with layouts of the paper and also getting more views to hopefully reach more public outlooks, she fist pumped the air when she was reading aloud some good news, which snapped me out of this whole idea of feeling warm inside.

She waved me over before someone asked her to read out what she was so excited about, she motioned for our group leader to read the out loud to us all.

"It has been bought to my attention that an incredible team have been discussing with good measures of finding out what has been happening within our town, the principal should feel very proud of its students curiosity as this sparks motivation for more specifics in potential aspects in the field of journalling and real news, watch this space Oaks View High is really my inspiration of why I love my job as their mayor of Oaks View #ProudMayor #OaksViewHigh

FYI - Towns meeting this Saturday 5pm, don't be late - sincerely the Mayor",

Our groups leader couldn't help hide his smile, everyone else was stunned.

"Oh, my fricken God", most of the party were too stunned to say anything else,

"Language", the teacher spoke sternly,

"The fricken Mayor", he continued.

Everyone started hugging and sharing their excitement and talking quietly among themselves, we heard a few congratulations from nearby strangers who were sharing the library space with us.

"Nice work there team", our teachers wife said, as she started getting us to leave our work on the tables, and began ushering us all to where there was food waiting for us all to eat in the staff area.

I could feel my tummy do a small growl and half thanked her quietly to myself. Natalia pulled me to the side and whispered to me,

"I think I have a lead on your mum", she looked at me with a wide grin,

"Nice work Pocahontas and welcome to the team by the way", our group leader said before he continued following our teacher and other students to the staff room.

"What were you and Natalia talking about said Spencer?",

"Oh, nothing important", I said,

"What's not important?", replied Daisy joining us,

"Hey are you two nerds aware that we have work after this?", said Stacey who was hand in hand with her boyfriend,

"Oh, also Daisy and I have cheer this weekend and you my dare are joining, no buts", said Stacey who pulled me into her.

"Well that means we will see each other during try outs and the games", winked Spencer.

(Time skipped)

I was stuffed, my belly started to ache, I had to unzip my denim bottoms to breathe. I was grateful at the news Natalia said, but how were we going to get the answers including who was she referring to.

We made a time to meet up, but I told her the day she wanted to meet up would mean I had Daisy and Stacey with me too.

So, we suggested letting them tag along. She side eyed me and asked discreetly "Do you think, you know Stacey's butler will come along too, I mean the dude could practically stand by a door and no one would even notice they were even a couple. I mean does he speak more than 10 characters, which I might add what a cute touch on Spencers part of describing you 'flowers that bloom in adversity are the most beautiful'", she continued,

Feeling myself blushing, she must have caught on and immediately stopped. Which made me appreciate the change in her mood altogether. I mean things between the both of us have been good, I did not want to give Spencer the wrong impression, I was grateful to have a friend who we were both okay being this close. Which made me have a quick flash back about my friend from back home, Will who Fan and I both adored.

How times were so simple and I wished for a moment or even a second to be with them both, even right now as times felt uncertain, with all that was going on...it couldn't hurt to have that thought come to reality. 

I began tapping on my school bag as Spencer offered us a ride home, the ride was quiet but it was a nice quiet. Staceys boyfriend was dropped off before us, he lived close by to someone else in our radio crew. 

"Everything okay city girl?", Spencer asked, both Daisy and Stacey were fast asleep in the back. His voice seemed lower than usual, almost sensual. I hadn't noticed how close his hand was to mine.

"Yeah, everything is okay", I replied,

When he dropped us off, his trucks horn beeped and we all made our way inside. I watched as his truck left, and Kylo joined me and nudged at my legs. I smiled and followed after her inside. Daisys mum wasn't yet home, so we started getting ready for work, I smiled again my Aunt Kera had got me a new work uniform. She would be back in time to pick us all up ready for work at Stu's café I wondered, as I took a quick glance at the photo with both my mum, dad and Aunt Kera. I couldn't help but notice something in the picture, the location, the room looked familiar. It was...Stu's café and on there was a picture frame where they were all standing. The picture frame...it's the same I'm sure of it.
