We had arrived to a brightly colourful café,
"Welcome to Stu's café", Kera said proudly,
"It's not much, but it means a lot to not only myself and your cousins", she said looking at me. Then looking back at the sign on the café, "It means a lot to everyone here in Oaks View" ,
"We have been meaning to change the sign over properly, but....it sort of gives it a more vintage feeling", she chuckled lightly,
I glanced over the café once more, she was right. It did give the café...character of its own, I especially liked the choice of sitting outside, and how nature made its mark of approval to the place.
I spotted a few birds of all kinds of species, sitting on branches within the trees, looking down at me. Kylo stayed in Rosey, while I followed behind my Kera. She held the door open for me, as I closed it after me.
Immediately the café was crowded, I was greeted by Lorde 'love club' playing in the back ground. Inside was just as beautiful, and just as magical and lively as it was outside. However, the weather was a bit chilly and majority of the seats were full inside.
People chose to stand next to people who were seated, the atmosphere felt relaxed and friendly. People were chatting, eating, drinking tea and other beverages. I stood by a corner briefly, as I took in my surroundings, my shoes began to meet as I turned my legs inwards nervously.
"Welcome !",
I almost had a mini heart attack, as a guy in a bear onesie gave me a freight. As this guy pulled me back into reality.
"Sorry, did I give you a fright", as he, helped balance me with both of his hands on my shoulder.
"I-It's okay", smiling faintly, as I held my hand over my chest, recovering from the jump scare.
"Are you sure, you are okay?", the boy who was underneath the bear onesie, pulled his hoodie down. I met his gaze, dark brown orbs met mine.
"Ye-yeah, I-I'm okay", I said with all honesty, trying to avoid looking at him any longer than I should be.
"I'm Spencer by the way", as he held out a tanned hand.
"Lili", I added, wondering whether to shake his hand or not.
Spencer took my hand in his, and shook it enthusiastically, warmth released itself into my palm. Quickly pulling my hand away...nodding in agreement.
"I haven't seen you before, you must be new", with a puzzled expression.
