Music playing: Glitter by BENEE

Kylo rushed over to me barking profusely, where ever the fourth and final book was, we definitely had no lead in finding where it would be. However, I had long scratch on my arm from Kylo's paw after getting a freight.

It stung a bit when I went to assess how deep it was on my arm, thank goodness not too deep and it won't hopefully scar.

Kylo started to lead me out of the bushes, we had been wondering close by to the towns library and lucky for me, the building could still be seen. A sigh of relief when I could see the both of us getting closer.

The Newspaper club and I were on the hunt of finding some clues in the library when we had heard a scream coming from the nearby bushes that lead to the park, but the sound went silent. We had all split up and I had Kylo with me, she had been waiting outside with a clean bowl of water.

It was close to getting dark, but I then heard rustling sounds, like something might be stalking me. Kylo started to bark and I told her to quietened down,

"It's okay girl, it might be one of the others, shhh shh",

She came by my side, I stared at where the sound was intently keeping an eye out. Then a sound of a low growl came, and it had sounded like more joined in.

My heart was racing, I stopped moving and Kylo went quiet next to me. It was a bit dark where the sound was coming, but it made the hairs on my neck and arms stand up - sending a cold chill down my spine.

What do I do? I thought.

There was no way I was going to find out what made that sound and also there is no way these things would attack me if I ran out towards the Library building.

As soon as I heard the leaves on the ground beneath them move, I bolted towards where there is more visibility of being seen by someone...anyone.

"Run, Kylo, run girl !", I shouted.

"Help me !", I screamed.

I almost tumble to the ground, and I could see the building become more and more prominent in front of me. A heavy weight of what felt like air, was now on me. The things that were now chasing after me, were sending me in flight mode and I was not going to quit making it out of these bushes.

The low growl was getting closer and closer, I almost felt one of them try to nip at me.

As soon as my legs started to buckle, I saw Kylo had made it out, but she turned around and started barking, she was about to come back until I yelled at her not too.

"No Kylo, I'm here!",

I made it out of the bushes safely and breathed fast and tried to calm my breathing so that I could get some proper air into my lungs.

"We did it girl", I chuckled under my breathe,

I saw the others coming out of the other parts of the bush and looking relieved to see me.

(A few minutes later)

I was wrapped up in a warm fleece blanket, a throw borrowed from one of the sofas in the library office. I was given a warm hot chocolate to help cope with the nerves.

"Tha-thank you", I said, warming my hands on the mug.

My cousin Daisy was next to me, rubbing my arms on the outer part of the brightly coloured green and white throw.

"What the hell was it?", Natalia asked,

Everyone was asking me or trying to pry out what it could have been and Spencer had to leave, so we would have to catch a ride with someone else or wait for Aunt Kera. He offered to drop Kylo off, so that she wasn't waiting for awhile, at least she would be at home safe. He had to go and pick up his mom for his sister at the hospital around this time.

Ruby and Robby were scribbling what it could have been and started writing up what everyone had found in terms of clues, they even had strings and pins linking up with photos and some photos had question marks.

They had also taken evidence of photos such as the journals, diaries we had found including the attacks they managed to get. Ruby's dad is the sheriff so, that was enough for us to get a rough idea of who she was including Mike's dad.

"Guy's we have to rule out the possibility that it could be some big animal like a bear or a cougar or even a lion", said Mike,

"Jeez are you serious, Oaks View has none of those animals, the most lethal animal would be a stray dog, if your lucky maybe even an angry bird", said Natalia.

"Well what do you suppose", he continued.

I started thinking out loud, the growling sound but...what to compare it too?.

"It might of been a wolf, I mean our towns got stories of those", said Robby,

"Don't be silly, it's just a myth of even better a legend even Robby", replied Ruby,

That's it, they were like big dogs...like wolves except not your normal kind of wolves...no. These wolves were much bigger, much faster, way faster I began to shudder in my seat. I took a quick sip of the cute pink strawberry mug, the delicious taste of my hot cocoa made me feel nice inside, after letting it cool down for a bit.

I started thinking about what this would sound like if i had mentioned it to everyone out loud, crazy obviously. But it just made sense...

"It was wolves", I said looking at everyone,

Nobody said anything and they were all looking at me, well I thought they were all looking at me. Anyway, I could feel my throat start to dry up, gulping out loudly trying my best to help lubricate my oesophagus and throat, my voice box.

"The things that tried to attack me in the bush, I think they were wolves, wait no I know that they were wolves",

"Lili", Daisy tried to intervene,

"I know what this sounds like, but it's the only thing that make sense right now".
