Music playing: Stay with me by Miki Matsubara
It was dark and cold, my skin was freezing. My teeth started to chatter, panick started to form within me. I looked around and saw someone ahead of me.
"Who's there?", I asked,
"Lili?", the voice sounded,
"Yes?", I asked,
"It's me Lyde",
"What the hell are doing here Lyde, where the hell are we?", I asked, feeling puzzled.
"I don't know, but you shouldn't be here, it's not safe", telling me off,
"For your information, I can take care of myself and also why are you here then?", I asked him, not sounding convinced by his scolding,
This isn't a safe place, especially for someone like you", he replied giving me a once over.
"That's not for you to decide, besides if were both here, you obviously need my help getting out of here as much as I need your help too", I responded.
"Fair enough, just stay close to me", he said.
He and I started to walk closely together, then something jumped out at us, Lyde pushed me behind him, guarding me from what was to come. When we saw it wasn't anything dangerous we both let out a sigh of relief when we saw it was Kylo.
"Oh, my god girl, you gave us a fright", she came rushing to me, and I gave her pats, smiling.
"You know that thing?", he mocked.
"First of all yes, and she's not called a thing, her names Kylo",
"Kylo meet Lyde, Lyde meet Kylo", she started sniffing his hand and licking him and then came back over to me.
We both then heard a noise coming from the shadows, and Kylo started to bark loudly as she started growling.
"Lili, stay close to me".
I thought it was people, but it started to growl back, flashbacks of the animal that attacked us. My heart started to quicken...it's its a-.
(Alarm sounding)
"Lili wake up, breakfast is ready, Kylo has already eaten, quick before you miss out", Daisy said, jumping off my bed.
(After cheer practice)
We were all invited to meet Natalia at the library for brunch, she invited all of us from the radio crew including Staceys boyfriend. Spencer drove us over in his truck and Daisy let her mum know where we were.
We had gotten dressed after training quickly out of our sweaty clothing and into much more comfortable wear.
Natalia started a small library group for all of us to hang out and also kill two birds with one stone, that way we could make some small changes to our schools new paper that we weren't rushing to get it out on time.
We started discussing about ourselves and it took a bit of time, we were then all laughing at each others antics. We were all in the staff room, eating some of her mums food, it was still awkward seeing two adults you go to school with being intimate, let alone normal.
Anyhow, Natalia and I were talking about where we wanted to search next for clues.. I then mentioned to her how I had noticed something unusual in a photo at home and showed it to her on my phone, and compared the differences of the same photo in Stu's café, I took.
"We need to get to Stu's café, how about we meet Monday evening, surely your aunt won't mind",
"Does she work that day", she asked quietly,
"No, she's out on grocery runs Mondays and Tuesday's",
"Okay Monday evening it is, I'll swing by as soon as my mum and I finish things off here and I'll bring my tool kit with me, you never know we might get lucky", she mentioned.
Spencer came towards, "I'll leave you to it then", she raised her brows slightly and made her way towards the food table. I looked up at Spencer who started to hand me a warm beverage and food... a cookie.
Smiling at him "Thanks", I motioned to his kind gesture.
"You are welcome", he said with a wide smile.
"So, what are your plans tomorrow?", he asked.
"Oh, were off to go and see Lyde at the hospital, apparently he should be okay to have visitors tomorrow",
"Oh, never mind, what about next weekend?",
"Maybe you and the gang could watch a movie, I heard there is a great movie about wolves out by then, what do you say?",
"Yes", I replied.
"Great I'll make a chat for us and just play it by air, just so you know I am going to shout our food for us",
"Honestly, you do not need to do that, I'm happy to split the bill",
"No-no I insist, it's the least I can do for a friend who's been helping us all, seriously I insist",
"Let's meet in the middle, we will split the bill okay we are both working so there is no harm",
"Alright then", he put his hand out for me and I shook his hand without hesitation.
Spencer offered to take us to Natalia's who said she didn't mind lending us some of her outfits to wear to tonights meeting. As there was going to be a teen get together the same night after. The girls and I were laughing and trying out what worked on us.
We all agreed to wear coats over our tops to cover up our outfits until we got to the party, Spencer wasted no time in making a chat for the radio crew also invited in the chat.

My phone started to ping continuously after that text message, and that was enough cellphone for the day. I nervously shuffled my knee closer to me, while Spencer drove us to the Towns Hall for a meeting. Aunt Kera was already there with Kylo, she waited for us to park before making her way over to us.
Kylo stayed behind in the truck, I saw so many people gathering to get inside. Spencer locked up his truck and made his way over to me, Daisy and Stacey who then started to follow after Aunt Kera. I saw Natalia who waved at me to come by her, everyone followed after me, we had seats in the fourth row, meaning we we're closer to the doors so we we're if needed... able to escape from the stampede of people before the meeting adjourned.
