It's been two months since Taylor and Karlie have seen each other and the distance is causing a strain on their relationship. The last time they saw one another, Taylor was running towards her girl wrapped in a blanket, desperate to give her one final hug and kiss before seeing her off. Since then, Karlie's career has picked up immensely. In the short time she has been in the modeling industry, she has become one of the most sought after faces. She has been requested by some of the top designers to model their clothing. This is the dream she always had and after all of these years it's now her reality. Her schedule has been erratic, leaving one show in NY and boarding a plane to LA. From there she can possibly end up in London, Italy or anywhere else she is needed. Her days off are few. She seems to never have enough time to get to see Taylor, before being rushed to another location.

Taylor has thrown herself into the making of her album. The distance between her and her girlfriend is definitely harder on her. She stays in one place day after day, where her mind tends to wander a lot more than if she were actively changing her surroundings like Karlie. Texting seems to be their number one method of communication. They talk on the phone more, when Karlie is in the states, even if she's on the opposite coast. But when she's out of the country, it becomes more of a challenge. She misses her girlfriend so much. There are so many things that she misses like her lips. Karlie had the sofest lips that Taylor couldn't help but kiss. Her eyes were would change different shades of green based on her mood. The singer could get lost in them forever. And the sex. Sex with Karlie was amazing. She knew every inch of Taylor's body. She knew how to touch her and when. The singer misses those intimate moments.

Karlie was currently in Brazil, with Gigi, for a magazine shoot. It's funny how close her and Gigi have become since they first met. At first Gigi didn't like her because of Toni and now they seem to be inseparable. Sometimes Karlie finds herself looking at Gigi the way she looks at Taylor. She attributes that to her just missing the singer. At least she hopes that's the reason.

"Hey Gigi, you ready to go?" Karlie asked as she's waiting for the younger model to get changed so that they could go grab something to eat.

"Yeah, I'll be right out."

The shoot was super early so they'll be heading back to NY by 11am. Karlie can't wait to get home for a few days. She's excited to be able to sleep in her own bed.

Gigi is finally ready and the two make their way to the diner down the street for a quick breakfast.

"I'm so glad to be going home," Gigi said.

"Me to. It's been a while since I've been there."

"Do you have any plans while you're back," Gigi asked.

"Well, it's my mother's birthday so I was gonna go to St. Louis for a day or two."

"Hey Karlie, can I ask you a question?"

"Yeah sure," the model responded.

"What's up with you and Taylor?!

Karlie placed her elbows on the table as she held her head in her hands. "Ughhh, I don't know. I've just been busy with all of the traveling. I never have time to have a real conversation with her because I'm always so tired. Our relationship has become nothing more than simple quick words that grace the screen of our cell phones. And now I'm going to be off for three days and at least two of them will be spent in St. Louis. I just don't know what to do anymore."

"Do you still love her?" Gigi asked hesitantly. She felt a feeling of sadness come over her but wasn't really sure why. I mean, she's happy that her close friend found the love of her life, isn't she?

Karlie looked up at the younger model with a look of desperation in her eyes, "Yes...I love her."

"I'm sorry Karlie, but that didn't sound too convincing," Gigi said.
