The girls woke up early, since they had an 8 am meeting with counselor #1.
"You ready for the meetings today?" Taylor asked.
"I am, but I'm kinda of nervous."
"Why are you nervous?"
"I mean, we're about to meet some person, who's basically going to tell us how to manage our relationship. Like, I don't want people telling me what to do. What if they say that we tell each other we love each other too much and to stop or something?" Karlie was starting to not like the idea of going to counseling but she'll do whatever it takes to make Taylor happy.
"Babe, if they ever told us not to say 'I love you', we'd fire them. They're only going to offer suggestions and give us advice as to how to make the distance work. We will always control our relationship, not anyone else." Taylor hoped she eased Karlie's mind a little. She didn't want her to back out of counseling.
The girls made their way to the SUV, as Karlie saw two fans nearby trying to get a picture from a distance. Karlie told Taylor to hold on before getting in the car. Karlie waved to the girls and motioned for them to come over. Both girls excitedly ran over as Karlie extended her hand and introduced herself and then introduced Taylor.
"OMG OMG OMG... We know who you are!!! OMG OMG OMG."
Taylor and Karlie began to laugh.
"Would you guys like a picture?" Karlie asked.
The two girls nodded as Jim came over to a picture of the four of them.
Taylor and Karlie gave them huge hugs before saying goodbye.
"Taylor? Karlie? I just want to say that I love everything about your relationship. You guys are awesome. I hope I find someone someday that looks at me the way Karlie looks at you." The young girl said, looking at Taylor.
The model and singer thanked them for their kind words, offering another hug before getting into the SUV.
"Hmmm, maybe you really are the heart eyes emoji." Taylor said and she kissed Karlie's cheek.
"Whatever babe."
--------------
They made their way to their first appointment to see Mrs. Lombardo. She was a woman well into her 60's that had an office still trying to find its way out of the 70's. After several questions, Taylor thanked her for her time, but felt like they would continue their search.
A short time later, they met Miss Schneider who looked like she was straight out of college. She was wearing a pleated skirt with daisy's on it, a yellow top and matching yellow slippers, with a daisy on it too. Karlie just looked at Taylor, giving her the 'I don't think so' look.
Appointment number 3 was Miss Simpson. She looked to be in her 40's. She seemed to be pretty fit, dressed in black slacks and a button down shirt with a flared out collar. She had light brown wavy hair that fell slightly below her shoulders. Her makeup was basic, not to overly done and her office was simple. Both Taylor and Karlie really liked her demeanor.
As they made their way to appointment number 4, Taylor asked Karlie what she thought about Miss Simpson.
"I really liked her. She seemed like one of the girls, where it probably wouldn't be too difficult to talk to her."
"I agree babe. Shall we cancel the other appointments and give her a try?"
"Sure," Karlie replied.
The other two appoints were cancelled as Taylor called the office of Miss Simpson, to see if they could schedule an appointment for them that week, before Karlie leaves for LA. To their surprise, she had an hour slot available later that afternoon if they wanted to come back. They agreed.
