Taylor and Karlie just left the sperm bank and we're now on their way to see Dr. Parker. When they arrived, they were escorted into one of the patient rooms as a nurse came in to draw some blood. A short time later, Dr. Parker came in to do a physical and to let them know that the blood work would be back the following day, since they have an onsite lab. As long as everything comes back ok, Taylor would be able to begin her hormone therapy as early as the following day. The two of them were on their way home, as Taylor reached over and grabbed Karlie's hand.

Karlie pulled her hand away and instead, wrapped her arm around Taylor, pulling her close to her. She leaned over and kissed her wife as Taylor placed her head into the crook of Karlie's neck. When they got home, the two went upstairs as Karlie pulled out some warmer clothes for them to wear.

"What are you doing Kar?"

"We're going for a ride. Here, get changed so we can leave." Karlie tossed an outfit to Taylor as she too changed. Within minutes, she grabbed a blanket and headed downstairs. Karlie put the top down on their convertible as they made their way down the coast.

"Are you gonna tell me where we're going?" Taylor asked.

"I thought it would be nice to go to Malibu and walk on the beach." Karlie replied.

Taylor smiled at Karlie's plan. She loved spending quality time with her.

When they arrived. Karlie grabbed her backpack and led the way down to the beach. It was a gorgeous day, a little cool, but beautiful. They walked hand in hand, with little to nothing to say. At one point, they stopped and watched the waves crashing against the rocks as Karlie stood behind Taylor with her arms wrapped around her. She began to kiss her neck as the singer smiled, tilting her head a little more to give her wife more access.

"I love you Taylor. Our whole life is about to change and I can't wait to begin the next chapter with you. Are you ready?"

Taylor turned around as she nodded her head. A little smile graced her face as she bit her bottom lip. "I can't wait Karlie. I really can't even express myself more. It's been an amazing journey with you and it just keeps getting better."

Taylor leaned in for a kiss as her wife happily obliged. The two stood there wrapped in each other's embrace for what felt like hours. Karlie placed the blanket on the sand as she sat down, pulling Taylor to sit between her legs.

"Have you started to think of any names?" Karlie asked.

"I like Chloe and Madison." Taylor replied. "Do you like those names?"

"They're pretty but Chloe will remind me of a Kardashian and I'm not really feeling that. Madison is pretty though."

"Well, what about you?" What names do you like?"

In less than two seconds, Karlie blurred out, "Mikayla. The name reminds me of Michael and I would really like to choose a name to honor him by because he's done so much for both of us."

Taylor turned to her wife and said, "I love that name. Mikayla it is. I love that someday we'll get to tell her about who inspired her name and how she's our little miracle baby."

The two sat there for a couple more hours before heading home. On their way back, Taylor's phone rang, it was Dr. Parker's office.

"Hello, is this Taylor Swift-Kloss?"

"Yes, this is Taylor."

"Hi Taylor. This is Amanda. I'm one of the nurses in Dr. Parker's office. I just wanted to let you know that your blood work came back early. Everything looks good. Will you be able to come in tomorrow morning at 11am to begin your hormone treatment?"
