''we should go'' I blurted out.

''yeah''

''yeah'' I repeated his own words still staring into his eyes.

He pushed himself up and gave me a hand, as I grabbed his and pulled myself up. He then rubbed his hands on the back of his jeans.

I had never been so confused so I just stood there awkwardly looking at my surroundings as if I was searching for something; in the lake, in the tree, mostly in the soft grass that lay underneath me but never at the boy standing beside me.

''Taytay?''

As I hear my name or shall I say nickname being called out I jump back to my senses and look at Harry who was now a few steps away from me.

''are you coming or...?'' he asked with a smile.

''yeah'' I responded still a bit spaced.

We had been walking for a few minutes. We talked as if nothing had happened, but maybe nothing had happened, I mean he probably wasn't going to kiss me, I'm so new to this whole thing. I decided to push my thoughts aside and continue with our conversation. It was still a bit awkward between us, at least it was for me, he went from being mean to trying to be nice and friendly to now, still trying to be nice. Harry gave out a friendly vibe but with a hint of coldness here and there. I just felt like he wasn't being himself so I stopped in my tracks. He realized and stopped too.

''what?'' he asked suspiciously.

''Harry, don't try to be nice, just stop okay please''

''so what you want me to be mean to you?'' he asked coldly.

''just be yourself.''

''I'm naturally mean'' he said shrugging.

''then be mean.''

''huh'' he looked so confused.

''fine then'' he continued.

I stared at the ground. Was this such a good idea? Guess ill find out later...

I woke up that Wednesday morning with a text from Selena. It was about some huge party Victoria was having Friday night. Selena wanted to go, so did Emma and the rest of the group were going as well.

Victoria was this really popular girl from school, why was she popular you ask, no reason, no reason at all, only that her brother was in some boy band that was quite popular in our town and so obviously everyone knew who they were. Her friends weren't very nice either, they got drunk every Saturday and made out with whoever, they were all as easy as a.b.c and have stuck their tongues down a lot of throats. Anyway, most people from our school were going to be there and all the young kids from these whereabouts as well. How lovely...not

I despised parties; the loud music, the smoke, the drunk idiots. Why would I want to go to a place like that? So I texted back saying no but obviously that was not going to be the end of it.

After a shit ton of calls from Emma and a hundred texts from Selena begging me that she needs me to be there, I gave in. I had already experienced these kind of things before, I didn't like them but I couldn't keep saying no so I ended up saying yes.

It was Friday. The day I dreaded with a passion.

I had already showered, put some makeup on and straightened my hair. I put on a pair of skinny black jeans with cuts on the knees, a white crop top and my nice pair of black sandals with glitter.
