My name is Taylor I’m 7, I have blue eyes and blonde hair. My dad says I’m too tall for a girl. My hobbies are singing, running and riding my bike. I have a dog called champ, he is very small and cute. My mum’s name is Andrea and my dad’s name is Scott. I have a young brother and his name is Austin. We live in a pretty house outside of town. When I grow up I want to be a police officer.

I wrote during the English lesson, then the bell rang.

‘’you coming Hazza?’’ I asked turning my head to face him.

‘’yes, TayTay’’ he chuckled.

We ran out of the classroom, with smiles on our faces. Mum was waiting for us by the school door, she pulled me and Harry’s bags from our becks but we refused to let them go. We ran to the car. Mum put in the key and the car took off. We arrived home a few minutes later, mum walked harry to his house. Harry was my best friend, he was also the neighbours only child, I loved Harry as if he was my brother, I was the sister he never had. Harry waved a big wave to me and mum as we walked over our lawn back to our own house.

‘’mum please let me go play with Harry, pleaseee’’ I begged, whilst mum was peeling the potatoes on the kitchen counter.

‘’oh, go on then’’ she said, gesturing her hand to the door where Harry was waiting impatiently with a huge grin on his face, his cute dimples showed, sometimes I wondered if they could ever leave a permanent hole on his face, but they didn’t.

Me and Harry went to the park that day, we played on the swings then we played catch until we both were out of breath and sat under the big oak tree just beside the river. It was our tree, like our teritory.

‘’I’m really going to miss you TayTay when we move to England’’ Harry said with a sad look in his eyes.

‘’Me too, Hazza’’ I said under my breath with a low hushed voice but just enough for him to hear me.

‘’Maybe dad would let me come visit you.’’ He said with a cute smile.

‘’Maybe you should come live with my momy and daddy’’ I said not thinking it through.

Harry let out a small laugh ‘’but I love my mum and dad, I won’t leave them’’ he said.

‘’Alright’’ I sighed  looking down at the green grass under us with a dissapointed look.

When the sun started to hide herself behind the cliffs Harry grabbed my arm and we ran after each other all the way back home for dinner. I hugged him before he went into his house.

Harry and his family left a week later, I saw the truck and all the movers from my bedroom window. I cried that day, all day, what was I supposed to do without Hazza? Dad took me for ice-cream that afternoon, he may have put too much candy on my ice-cream but it was all for a good reason.

‘’Come here baby girl’’ he said whilst wrapping his arm around my shoulders and pulling me into a big hug. ‘’don’t be sad darling.’’

But how couldn’t I be sad, I had just lost my best and only friend forever....
