Chapter Thirteen

And I might be okay,

But I'm not fine at all.

"So, do you want to tell me why the hell you made me drive all the way back to the city to grab these?" Chad walks into the cabin with a grocery bag in hand. I smiled gratefully at him before taking them out of his hand.

"I'm pretty sure you can take a wild guess..." I said quietly, taking the small box out of the bag nervously.

"Oh, I know what they're for. I'm just wondering why you didn't have Oliver go do it. He's just as capable, even if he does the hangover from hell." Chad chuckled at that, shaking his head a little before his expression turned serious. I hadn't said a word, my bottom lip between my teeth as I looked down at the box in my hands.

"You don't plan on telling him... Do you?" Chad asks and I once again don't say anything. What was there to say? I don't plan on telling him, I don't want him to know.

"Can we just keep this between the both of us for right now Chad? I know it's not fair of me to ask you that... but I just don't want him to know what's going on yet... I'll tell him eventually, just not right now... He's got enough on his plate." I whispered, hoping that I could at least get Chad on board with this.

"You have to promise me you'll tell him..."

"I will... besides, there's a chance I'm won't have to. I don't even know if I am or not yet..." I said sadly, but inside I already knew that I was. It wasn't hard to know, having already gone through this nearly a year ago.

"Okay... I'll uh... I won't tell him until you get the chance to..." Chad says quietly, looking towards the bedroom where Oliver was fast asleep. It was still pretty early in the morning, everyone else was still asleep except for Chad and I.

"Thanks... I'm sorry to put you in this position... but I couldn't get them myself..."

"It's fine, I consider you a friend just as much as I consider Oliver one." Chad smiles and I return it halfheartedly before looking back down at the box. I bounced it in my hand for a second before deciding to just get it over with. I left Chad alone in the front room as I went back to the bathroom. I pulled the small test out of the box, biting the inside of my cheek as I read the instructions. I did as it said, setting a small timer on my phone for roughly five minutes.

--------------

"Da!" E.J. squealed, reaching for Oliver as soon as he walked into the front room. I tried not to laugh at how his hair was sticking up in every direction, something that rarely happened with Olly even though he had very curly hair when he grew it out. He was due for a cut soon I was sure, but I liked it when it was long personally.

"Good morning to you too bear." Oliver mumbled, sliding down onto the floor with both E.J. and I. He placed his head on my shoulder, closing his eyes as he seemed to be trying to go back to sleep. E.J. didn't seem to like the fact that Oliver wasn't paying much attention to him.

"No. Da." E.J. says, making Oliver open his eyes and look at E.J.

"Did he just tell me no?" Oliver asks, looking at E.J. curiously as the little baby crawled towards him. E.J. had just recently started doing that as well, making it somewhat harder to keep track of him. Oliver and I were going to have to baby proof a lot when we got back to the apartment... We were probably going to have to move too.

"I think he did... He doesn't like the fact that Daddy isn't paying attention to him." I chuckled softly, picking up E.J. before putting him in my lap. E.J. grinned at Oliver, sticking his hands on Oliver's arm.

"Da."

"Eli."

"Da."

"Eli." Oliver cooed, nuzzling noses with E.J. which in turn just made him giggle. I smiled fondly at the two, loving how Oliver was around E.J. It was in that moment that Chad walked in with Jonah right behind them, Jonah had wanted to go outside for a few minutes but apparently I was "too busy" with E.J. to go with him.

"How are you feeling mate?" Chad asked, risking a glance towards me before sitting down on the couch by Oliver and I. Oliver chuckled softly as he shook his head.

"Like someone hit me with a f ucking truck. How much did I drink last night?" Oliver asked and it was Chad's turn to laugh.

"The bartender had to cut you off, especially after you tried to beat the hell out of that Rayden dude." Chad said, and the room fell absolutely silent.

"I... I didn't know that Rayden was in town..." I find myself saying, feeling somewhat upset about the fact that Oliver hadn't told me... and that he'd tried to beat him up.

"Really? He said that he called y-"

"Chad, shut up." Oliver hissed, glaring at Chad and the blonde boy slowly stopped talking. I stood up from the floor at that point, anger being the only thing I was feeling as I looked down at Oliver.

"I can't believe you." I find myself saying as I glare at Oliver.

"I can expl-" Oliver says quickly, jumping up off the floor. He looked absolutely desperate, which in turn just made me angrier.

"Save it. I don't want to hear it." I said angrily before pushing past Oliver and towards the bedroom. I shut the door in his face, completely ignoring his pleas for me to open it as I picked up my bag from the floor. I placed E.J. down as I looked around the room for my clothes, throwing them all into it without even bothering to pack. I made sure to pack all of E.J.'s stuff too, we weren't going to be staying any longer.

Double update cause I can and because I love you guys and felt like updating again lol.

Anyways, Chad is in the multimedia. He's played by Austin Butler.

I figured it was about time you guys found out what Oliver's band members looked like... I'm having issues finding people for Dean and Zach though.

And before someone comments Jensen Ackles for Dean, I already tried that. All his younger day pictures are from like the 90's so he's got the weird frosted tip hair.... and yeah. So Jensen will not be playing Dean lol.

So yeah...

Give me some people for Dean and Zach. I'll love you for 5eva lol.
