Chapter Two

So why'd you have to go?

Is there something I could say to make you turn around?

Cause nights like these I wish I'd said don't go

"You ready?" Oliver asks later that day, poking his head into our bedroom as I pull a new shirt over my head. I nodded my head before walking over to him, kissing E.J.'s cheek before kissing Oliver.

"Yeah. My dad will get angry if we're late." I said, taking E.J. from Oliver as he rolls his eyes.

"What's he going to do? Ground you?"

"I'd rather not risk it. Now come on, or you're the one who's going to get in trouble!" I teased, walking out of our bedroom and towards the front door. My parent's house was just a short walk from our apartment, so we grabbed E.J.'s stroller from the back of Oliver's car before strapping him in. E.J. loved his stroller, almost as much as he loved being held. It was quite interesting if you asked me. Oliver pushed the stroller and I linked my arm with his as we walked.

"Did you grab Mum's present?" I asked him before we left the parking lot. Oliver nodded before pointing towards the box that sat on the bottom of the stroller. I smiled, kissing his cheek. Our walk mainly consisted of Oliver and I making funny faces at E.J. and us laughing along with him. When we reached my parent's place, there was a lot of noise coming from the backyard. Oliver and I went through the back gate, greeting my family with a smile as we saw them. Dad waved from his place at the barbecue and Mum went straight to us. He didn't even wait before taking E.J. out of his stroller, a bright smile on his face as he picks him up.

"Hello baby!" Mum says, rubbing noses with E.J. which resulted in him giving off a string of giggles. Mum playfully nibbled E.J.'s fingers as he tried to grab his face, which was a little amusing. Dad came over to us at that point, rolling his eyes as he looks at us.

"Your mum and babies, I swear to god." Dad says, earning a glare from Mum before he went back to playing with E.J.

"Cut me some slack. I haven't had a baby for nearly thirteen years." Mum says, still pulling faces at E.J.

"Thank god for that. I never thought I'd see the day." Dad says, flinching as Mum smacks his arm. Oliver is trying not to laugh and even I had to admit it was a little amusing.

"It was just as much your fault as it was mine, so don't give me that."

"I never said it wasn't. I'm just saying I am now rejoicing in the fact that we aren't going to have anymore kids. No more "Harry I want another baby" because now we've got a grandchild that we don't have to take care of 24/7. The best part about being a grandparent is that when he starts crying... I don't have to find out what's wrong with him. That's all up to them." Dad says, a proud smile on his face as he crosses his arms over his chest. Mum has stopped playing with E.J. completely, a very hard glare on his face.

"Remind me again why I married you? You're such an idiot that it isn't even funny anymore." Mum huffs out before walking away. Oliver and I were still trying to hold back our laughter, especially when Dad went chasing after Mum.

"Niall, come back. I was only joking around... Of course if the baby cries I'll find out what's wrong with him... Babe!" Dad calls after Mum, leaving Oliver and I alone for the most part.

"Is that going to be us in twenty years?" Oliver asks as soon as Dad was out of ear shot. I snorted before shaking my head.

"God no. I'm not having six kids." I said, earning a small laugh from Oliver as he nodded.

"Good... I don't think we could handle six. Hell... We can barely manage one." Oliver says and I nodded in agreement. One baby was hard enough, I wasn't sure how my parents managed six of us. Jemma came up to us at that point, looking into the stroller before frowning.

"Where's my nephew?" She asks, pouting a little as she looks around for E.J.

"Mum's got him. You'll probably have to fight him if you want the chance to hold him." I said, pointing in the direction that our parents had gone. Jemma scowled, crossing her arms over her chest as she looks at me.

"Why does he always get to hold him first? I'll be lucky if I even get to see him." Jemma asks, earning nothing more than a shrug from me. She huffed before walking in the direction Mum went. I let out a small sigh before walking over to the small dinning table that sat on the back deck, Jonah was already there with a small grin on his face.

"What are you so happy for?" I asked him, sitting down as he looks in my general direction.

"Just the fact that everyone fights for Elijah's attention when we all know I'm his favorite." Jonah says, his grin growing even larger as I chuckled. It was true, Elijah loved Jonah the most for some reason. Oliver and I couldn't quite figure out why, but I found the bond the two had rather cute. I let out another sigh as I looked around the yard, my gaze finally finding where Elijah went. I small smile found its way on my face as I watched my parents fawn all over him.

He sure was loved, there was no doubt about that.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

These are just like fluffy chapters and for once I love it.

Jonah has made yet another appearance.

Harry is still an idiot.

A.J. seems to think he won't have six kids.

Maybe he will.

Probably not.

It's not going to happen lol.
