Hello, everyone! I think it's time I added one these because comments about inaccuracies plague the bonus chapter and epilogue of this fic 💀💀
At the time of writing this FOREWORD, it's 2026.
First and foremost, I do thank you all for reading this ancient as FUCK story xD it means a lot and I'm glad people read this! My Marvel obsession when I wrote this was RAMPANT and it still makes me happy that people still read the Marvel fics around here, especially mine.
Second, I want to reiterate the 2026 NOTE in the description. When I wrote this story, I was 13-14. I'm now in my twenties (at the time of writing this foreword). It's been a bit and when I was 14, it was 2017. Black Panther was about to come out or it was already out (i don't remember tbh). When I finally finished the last chapter, I think Infinity War was about to come out? Something like that idk. Point is, this book be old as fuck.
That brings me to the third point: I don't plan to edit any of the chapters or redo them. It'd be A LOT of rewriting, plot fixes, and the consistency of my old writing style with my writing style now would conflict. I have debated on rewriting this story, but I think keeping it the way it is adds the nostalgia to the era Marvel fics were being posted left and right.
Last, I'd like to talk about my OC for a moment. Without spoilers, she is meant to be too OP. I was 13-14 when I created her and I was influenced by all the cliche tropes going around at the height of Marvel fics. I was cringe and I was free when I wrote this, and I still am lol
With all this being said, the way the fic written is meant to follow how Civil War ended and how my 14-year-old interpreted how my OC's story would end following the CW arc.
And one last thing: FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY, MORGAN DOES NOT EXIST IN THIS MCU FIC. SHE IS NOT RELEVANT. for those who haven't read this yet, just look at the comments in the epilogue when you finish....
