Where girls give chocolates to the boy they fancy.

The one and only Valentine's Day!

Now, Bell really isn't fond of sweets, and everyone knew that. But that little detail wasn't enough to stop anyone. If anything, it only encouraged them to get creative.

After all...

They were a very crafty bunch.

Artemis: *Smile* Happy Valentine's, Bell. Here.

The goddess held out a neatly wrapped box tied together with a silver ribbon. Despite the calm smile on her face, she'd been looking forward to this moment for days.

Bell looked pleasantly surprised before accepting it with both hands, treating it with the same care he gave every gift.

Bell: *Smile* Thank you, Artemis-sama.

The smile he gave her was bright and genuine.

And unfortunately for Artemis, dangerously effective.

For a brief moment, she found herself feeling rather pleased that she'd been the first one to arrive.

The two stood near the front gates of the Hera Manor as the cold morning breeze drifted through the courtyard.

Artemis: Hehe~ And I prepared it the way you like. Dark chocolate with nuts.

Bell: You remembered?

He was genuine surprise in his voice. Most people spent Valentine's Day trying to make chocolate sweeter. Artemis had somehow remembered he preferred the exact opposite.

Bell: *Smile* Thank you. I'm sure it'll be delicious.

The corners of Artemis' lips immediately rose a little higher.

Artemis: Of course I remembered.

She crossed her arms with a proud little nod.

Artemis: Do you know how much effort it takes to make Valentine's chocolate for someone who doesn't actually like sweets?

Bell: S-Sorry?

Artemis: Fufufu~ Don't apologize Bell. You're worth all the trouble.

Bell froze.

A faint blush immediately spread across his cheeks.

Bell: *Blush* W-Why don't you come inside for a while, Artemis-sama?

The invitation was innocent.

Bell was simply being polite.

Artemis knew that.

Unfortunately, that didn't stop Artemis's heart from skipping a beat.

For a moment, she genuinely considered accepting.
