Zeus and Bell strolled up to a quaint café, the hum of conversations blending with the aroma of coffee in the crisp air. Sitting at one of the outdoor tables was a figure Bell immediately recognized, a certain deity whose playful grin made him shrink back instinctively.

Zeus: Ah, Hermes, I see you're already here.

Hermes: I make it a point not to keep anyone waiting.

He stood up from his seat as he saw Zeus standing in front of him. His tone was light, but there was a subtle nervousness in his eyes as he looked between Zeus.

Zeus: *Smirk*  Well then, are you ready for this?

Hermes: *Nervous chuckle* Not much of a choice, is there?

He glanced over at Bell, who was cautiously peeking out from behind Zeus's legs, his gaze fixed anywhere but on Hermes.

Hermes crouched slightly, his gaze falling to Bell, who clutched Zeus's cloak tightly. Bell's ruby eyes darted to the ground, his unease apparent.

Hermes: *Chuckle* Still avoiding me are we Bell?

Zeus: That hasn't changed has it?

Bell: Hmph! Mama and aunty told me you were a bad man, They said I should always run away if I see you.

The two deities couldn't help but let out small chuckles at Bell's response.

Hermes: *Nervous smile*  Well.... I can understand why they would say that.

Ignoring him, Bell looked up to Zeus, his eyes filled with questions.

Bell: Grandpa, why is this man with us? What about Papa? I thought he was going to come with us instead.

He asked while tugging on Zeus's clothes.

His ruby eyes flicked to Hermes for a brief second before darting away. Bell's expression twisted in frustration as he continued, his words tumbling out unchecked.

Bell: *Frown* I don't want to be with him. Aunty and Grandma always call him a useless-

"Gah!"

Bell: Good-for-nothing-

"Ouch!"

Bell: Waste of space of a being!

"Geh!"

After Bell finished speaking, Hermes began to stammer backwards he he clutched on to his chest with wide eyes while glancing between Zeus and Bell.

Hermes: I-I have to say... T-Those are some really strong words to teach a child!

His voice wavered between forced humor and genuine shock, his golden eyes wide as he glanced at Zeus, who merely chuckled, clearly unfazed. Bell, meanwhile, looked away with a huff, leaving Hermes to recover from the verbal barrage.
