Europa: Is that understood, Silvia? Galatea?

Silvia: Yes, Lady Europa. I'll make sure all our supporters are properly equipped, and I'll double check the healers' inventory myself. We can't afford to overlook anything.

Galatea: I'll stay in close contact with our covert team. If there's even a hint of suspicious movement near the city, or Dungeon, I'll send word immediately.

Every executive of the Hera Familia was gathered in Europa's office for their routine strategy meeting. The atmosphere was tense, but not chaotic. Sharp minds, sharper instincts, no one here wasted time on theatrics or distractions.

Europa sat straight-backed behind her polished oak desk, her fingers gently laced together. Her gaze was calm but unyielding, sharp as glass. The other executives sat across from her, arranged in a neat arc, their chairs forming an invisible line of discipline and respect.

Europa: And Aurelia, when is your next expedition outside of the city? I have received reports that the forest of whispering fog and dragon valley are having an increase of monster activity. We cannot stand idly by.

Aurelia: We're at the final stretch of preparations captain. Within a week we will set out.

Europa merely nodded not offering a response. As always, Europa's expression was composed, her voice quiet but firm. She carried the same commanding presence as Alfia, and in moments like this, it was nearly impossible to tell which of them was more severe.

Europa: One more thing... Alfia, we've been receiving complaints again.

Europa's gaze shifted ever so slightly, her tone taking on the faintest edge of exasperation.

Europa: I understand your training methods are effective but try to ease up on the mages. We do need them alive. And preferably with all their limbs still attached.

Alfia raised a brow, expression unreadable.

Alfia: If they break under pressure now, they'll shatter out there. I'm not going to coddle them.

Europa didn't flinch.

Europa: I'm not asking you to coddle them. Just... Don't cripple the next generation.

A subtle silence followed. Then, Alfia gave the smallest nod.

It was common knowledge across the Familia—there were only three people in the world Alfia would actually listen to without putting up a fight. Most of the time, at least.

First was her twin sister, Meteria her beloved, precious sister. If Meteria ever asked her for anything, Alfia wouldn't hesitate for even a second.

Next was Bell, her sweet nephew. He was once a bundle of joy, and now he'd grown into a fine young man. Alfia doted on him more than she'd ever admit out loud.

And lastly, there was Europa, the Captain of their Familia. Calm, composed, and unwavering. As much as Alfia hated to say it, she respected Europa. The woman's strength was unmatched, standing alone at Level Nine. But more than that, it was her quiet authority and ability to keep their often-chaotic Familia together that earned Alfia's regard. Even if she never said it out loud, she listened when Europa spoke.
