Cynthia: There! Doesn't the young master look so cute?!

She couldn't help but gush at the sight.

Violet: *Smile* The best.

Bell: W-Weally?

There, standing proudly, well as proudly as a four-year-old could. Bell faced his two guardian maids. His small hands fidgeted with the soft fur around his belly as his long, floppy bunny ears wobbled with every nervous twitch.

The full-body bunny costume was almost too much White and fluffy from head to toe, a tiny pink nose painted on his face, and a round cotton tail bobbing behind him. His cheeks were flushed pink as he tried not to meet their eyes.

Cynthia clapped her hands together, eyes sparkling.

Cynthia: Oh, he's adorable! Look at those little ears! I could just eat him up! Nom! Nom! Nom!

Violet's lips curved into a small, rare smile.

Violet: You're the embodiment of cuteness young master.

Bell puffed his cheeks, unsure if he should be proud or embarrassed.

Bell: B-But... Do I have to wear this all day...?

Cynthia bent down, ruffling his hair between the bunny ears.

Cynthia: *Smile* Of course! It's for the spring festival, young master! You'll be the star of the whole manor! And the reason half the staff faints from excessive sweetness.

Violet: Everyone will shake in their boots, in awe of your cuteness.

Bell: Eh?! T-That's not good, right?!

Cynthia and Violet exchanged a look. One delighted, the other amused as Bell stomped his little bunny foot in protest, the soft thump only making him look even more endearing.

Cynthia: *Smile* There's nothing to worry about, Bell-sama! Shall we go find Meteria-sama and Alfia-sama?

Bell: Yay!

Violet: They should still be setting up decorations for the festival. If I recall correctly... They're in the rear gardens.

With their destination decided, Bell eagerly reached out his small hands, and both maids instinctively took them. Cynthia on his right, Violet on his left. The boy's fluffy bunny costume made soft puff sounds as he bounced with every step, his cotton tail swaying behind him.

The polished floors reflected his excitement as they left his room, sunlight spilling in through the windows and catching the faint sparkle of festival ribbons hung along the hallways.
