Later on that same evening, the Company set up camp near an old abandoned farmhouse. Madison could see that she didn't like the place already, just by the looks of it. And she wasn't the only one who felt the same way--Gandalf too, had a bad feeling about the area as well. As Madison and her sisters, Alexandra and Sadie set up their bedrolls, it was Sadie who spoke up. "I'm not so sure we should stay here, girls. There is something about this area that isn't right." said Sadie. "Then take it up with Thorin, it was his idea anyway for stopping here." said Alexandra. "There's no way I'm going to talk to Thorin--I'm in no mood to argue with that dwarf--and besides that, I don't want to get his bad side remember?" Sadie argued back. "Well someone has to say something to him!" snapped Alexandra. "Oh, fine! I will say something to him!" said Madison, sharply.

How did I end up being the one to say something to Thorin? Maybe I should have kept my mouth shut, thought Madison. And it seemed like someone had beaten her to it, and it was Gandalf. The Wizard and Dwarf had been standing nearby the farm house ruins arguing for quite some time. "Miss Madison, dinner's ready!" called out Bofur. "Just bring over the stew to me if you please, I'm going to eat right here!" Madison called out to Bofur. And so Bofur brought over the bowl of stew and she ate. Suddenly, as she was about to finish her stew, she saw Gandalf storming passed her. Now you really done it, Thorin--you've gone and pissed off the wizard-you stupid idiot! thought Madison. It was not long after Gandalf had left, that Madison decided she would speak to Thorin and give her take on the situation. Maybe she believed that Thorin would listen to her. And so Madison walked towards the Dwarf Leader.

"Thorin, may I have a word with you for a minute?" asked Madison. "Of course! What do you wish to discuss?" asked the Dwarf. "I believe Gandalf is right--we cannot stay here!" continued Madison. "Miss Van Buren, this matter doesn't concern you--now back to where you've been sitting and finish your supper." grumbled Thorin. "Bull shit!! That matter does to concern me! In fact, it concerns ALL OF US! For once, Thorin, get your head out of your ass and look at your surroundings! This place isn't safe!!" snapped Madison. "I rather die than to be seeking refuge with ELVES!!" barked Thorin, angrily. "Oh, is this what all of this about? You knew that we're going to Rivendell for help, and you refuse to get help because of your hatred of some sand blasted, snoddy nosed WOOD ELF KING?!!" Madison yelled back. "Miss Van Buren, so help me, if you don't leave me alone--!" Thorin began angrily. "NO! I'm not going to leave you alone! I'm not leaving until you agree we should move on!!" Madison shouted.

"And I say this discussion is over, WOMAN! NOW GO!!" yelled Thorin. "Listen here, you selfish, arrogant son of a bitch!! If something happens to my sisters and our little hobbit, I'm going to wring your neck!!" screamed Madison, angrily. Suddenly, Thorin angrily approaches Madison, and he grabbed her by the shoulders, as he started to shake her. "Never raise your voice at me, woman! I AM YOUR KING!" bellowed the Dwarf Leader. "The last time I checked, you are not my king--and secondly, no King behaves like this!!" Madison shouted back. All of a sudden, Thorin raised his hand and struck her across this face. "The discussion is over!!" shouted Thorin angrily. It was when the dwarf struck her, anger and rage clouded over her, and this time to her surprise, she began to grow wings! No, no, no, no no! Not now! Don't do this now!! Madison thought. But it was too late, now her form, she is a black dragon! Suddenly Madison began to fly around in the sky in anger, as she breathed fire.

Madison had decided to remain in the sky for a while, until she cooled down from her temper. Meanwhile back at the camp, Sadie and Alexandra exchanged looks. "Where is Madison?" asked Sadie. "I don't know. The last time I know she went to talk to Thorin!" said Alexandra. "Well let's go ask Thorin--Lord, I hope he didn't get her angry!" grumbled Sadie, as the two younger Van Buren sisters approached the Dwarf Leader. "Thorin, have you seen our sister?" asked Alexandra. "The last time I saw her, she got mouthy with me, so I told her off! Leave me alone!" grumbled Thorin. "Thorin Oakenshield, what did you do to our sister?!" demanded Alexandra angrily. Hearing this caught the attention of the rest of the Company. "Yes, lad--what did you do?" demanded Balin, sternly. "I don't want to talk about it!!" shouted Thorin angrily.

Suddenly, they heard a loud shriek coming from the sky. "What in the hell is that?!" exclaimed Gloin. "OH NO!" wailed Sadie, as she noticed a black dragon flying above them. "She didn't---oh Great heaven's above she didn't!!" shrieked Alexandra. "Why is there a black dragon flying above us?!" shouted Dwalin. "That Black Dragon is my sister, Dwalin!!" shouted Sadie. "See, Thorin--this is what happens when you get Madison angry!!" snapped Alexandra. "So, you're saying you get her angry--she turns into a dragon?" asked Gloin. "Yes." Alexandra replied. "Madison, get your fat tailed fanny down here now!!" shouted Sadie and Alexandra together. The Dragon looked at the younger Van Buren Sisters stubbornly, and then she flew down and landed, as she flopped down on the ground.

"You know that isn't necessary Madison!" Alexandra scorned the Dragon. "Well Thorin started it! He had the edacity to strike me!!" snapped Madison. "Miss Van Buren, he has never meant to strike you, you should know that!" said Balin gently. "And I highly suggest you turn yourself back into normal, sister--you can get us all in trouble if you don't!" said Sadie. "She is right, listen to your sister, Miss Van Buren!" said Thorin. "That' s just the problem--I can't." said Madison. "What do you mean you can't?!" snapped Thorin, angrily. "Knock it off, Thorin--let us handle this!!" Alexandra shouted at Thorin. "I just wanted to be left alone okay?! All of you!" snapped Madison. "Let's listen to the lass--she wishes to be left alone!" said Balin. At first Thorin refused to walk away from her, but then he turned away, and walked back to where he is now sitting. It wasn't long after that Thorin had sat down, Fili and Kili came running out of the trees.

"Uncle, it's the trolls! They got the ponies and Bilbo!" panted Kili. "Come on, we're going to get them!" snarled Thorin. "We're right behind you!" called out Sadie. "No, you stay here and watch over the Camp! And your sister!" said Thorin. "Oh? So now you're not going to let us help?!" snapped Madison, whom is now still in dragon form. "Not like that, you're not!!" Thorin snapped back angrily, and he walked away. "Can't you believe that shit? How can he be so shallow fucking minded?!" snapped Alexandra. "Fuck it, we'll just do as he says and stay here!" grumbled Madison. "Now Madison, that is no way to talk! We're part of this Company too, you know! And by rights, we have every right to help them rescue Bilbo and the Ponies! And we're going to do so!" said Sadie, sharply. "Hello! Sadie! Have you forgotten one thing? I'm still a dragon, you know!" snapped Madison, angrily. "Well what's that got to do with anything? Maybe you can save them in your dragon form!" said Alexandra.

"You two just don't get it do you? If Gandalf sees me like this, he's going to give me a very long lecture! In fact, he's going to be pissed, as he told all three of us not to use our magic!!" argued Madison. "Madison, have you heard of the old saying, 'desperate times come for desperate measures'?! Well this is one of them times! It wouldn't hurt to rescue the Company as you are--and besides that it would frighten the trolls so much, they would forget about eating the Company!" shot back Alexandra. Madison realized that they are right--maybe it wouldn't hurt to give it a try. "Very well! Climb on my back!" said Madison with a sigh. And so Sadie and Alexandra climbed onto the Dragon's back, as Madison spreads her wings, and took off into the sky. And as Madison flew around the area, she could see where the Trolls have captured the Company in sacks, and Bilbo trying to distract the trolls from eating them.

Madison could also see Gandalf stand nearby waiting for what was about to happen next. "Watch this--I'll give them all a scare!" said Madison, mischievously, and in great speed, she flew towards the towards, flapping her wings and clawing at the trolls. "WHAT IN THE HELL?!" all three trolls shouted. "Miss VAN BUREN?!" cried out Thorin. "What in Durin's name is going on here?!" shouted Dwalin, and all of the Dwarves began to yell at once. "Miss Van Buren!! This is not the time for foolery!!" Gandalf shouted at her. "Gandalf, just do your thing and turn them into stone, already!!" Madison called out to the wizard. And Gandalf done what Madison asked him to do. It wasn't long after the Trolls turned into stone, Gandalf released the Company from the sacks and the fire pit. Madison flew down and landed, as Sadie and Alexandra climbed off the Dragon's back.

"Miss Van Buren, you and I are going to have a little chat once this is all over!" snapped Gandalf. "Not unless I get to her first, Tharkun!" snapped Thorin, hotly. "No, Thorin--you leave Miss Van Buren alone--you leave her with me, I will handle her." said Gandalf, firmly. "Shit! I'm in trouble now! grumbled " Madison. "Miss Madison, follow me, you and I need to have a little chat alone!" said Gandalf, sternly. "Yes, Gandalf!" said Madison quietly. "You too, Thorin, I would like to have a chat with you as well!" said Gandalf. "What in the hell did I DO?!" snapped Thorin. "Just shut up and do as I say!" snapped Gandalf.
