Troy's POV
I don't know if my hint was correct
that she was really not Lorraine. But I cannot be mistaken. I will know the truth no matter what.
I arrived in the same restaurant and I saw her in one of the tables inside.
"Hey" tawag ko sa pansin nya. she seemed spacing out. She did not notice my presence.
"Oh Troy anjan ka na pala. Maupo ka muna." Gulat na sagot nya sakin.
There is silence, untill she breaks the ackwardness between us.
"So... Its been a long time since we last saw each other." Panimula nya.
"Yeah its been a long time. How are you doing now Lorraine?" I aked her.
"I'm doing great. Its been a year since I came back from New York." I did not know she was in New York.
"New York? I thought you were staying with your sister in London.?"
"I did not stay in London instead Louise is the one went to New York to be with me."
"Oh was that the case."
"By the way how are you? Im sorry about this afternoon that I did not have the chance to talk to you properly. You know, they did not know that we knew each other plus the thing happened between you and my sister." She stated
Im confused right now. Its like she's not the person I talked to this afternoon.
"Its nothing." And I smiled at her.
Im having a hard time figuring things out. Is she Louise or Lorraine?
"By the way you want to talk about something what it is then?" She asked.
"Nothing. I just want to have a little chit chat with you. And by the way how's Louise doing now? Is she here in the Philippines?" I asked her I just need to know.
"She was here 2 weeks ago. Right now she is in London to settle something and for her business there and she knew that I will be meeting you tonight."
I want to talk to her. I want to see her and ask her what happened between us.
She just left without any explanation. I want to clear things out between us.
I thought I will have the answers now but I was wrong. She is not Louise.
"Ahm Troy Im sorry about what happened six years ago. I think Im the reason why my sister left without notice"
"You dont have to say sorry. And if you really are the reason I understand that. I know Louise, her priority is you. Maybe someday I will get answers from her.
Louise is someone that will exchange everything for her little sister. She loves Lorraine, she's her only family left.
"Its great seeing you and having this conversation with you. I hope I can see your sister too. Send my regards to Louise." I said before standing and laying my hands to shake hers.
Nagtataka man inabot nya rin ang kamay ko ng nakaupo and that is the last hope I have. She really is not Louise.
Louise does not have a heart shaped birth mark in her right hand.
"Its same with me. Dont worry I will send the message to my sister. Bye Troy hope to see you again."
And there I left the restaurant.
LORRAINE'S POV
My phone rings.
"Hello" I answered
"Hello Jane. How was it?"
"He is looking for you ate. You know that you left him broken six years ago with out any explanation just for me and I thank you for that but I pity him"
"I know that Jane" (real name po ni Lorraine ay Lorraine Jane so dont be confuse)
"When are you going to talk to him?" I asked her. I know that Im the reason why my sister left Troy.
If that incident did not happen maybe we are living our lives normally and peacefully.
"Right time will come Jane"
"Ate if you just let me settle-" she cut me.
"No Jane. I won't let you. You know what's my stand on that. I know what you are doing and Im telling you to stop it right now."
"But-"
"No buts Jane. Magpasundo ka na kay Riley. You better rest now. See you. Bye."
And she hanged up.
I love you ate but I won't stop, not now. I will put things in their rightful places. And even you can't stop me.
I open my phone and dial her number.
"Hello?" She answered
"Have you decided already?"
"You sure about this? You know what will happen?"
"You don't have to worry about that. Now, what is your decision?"
"Ok I agree to your plan. Just make sure it will work out."
"Im sure about it."
