Johnny's P.O.V
I saw Two-bit and Edith walk away. Edith looked sad. Two-bit hugged her and she wiped her eye. I hope she ain't crying. I felt bad for Edith. It looked like she got sad when Amber hugged me. Amber is nice and chill. I think I have crush on her, but I can't I like Edith! "I have to go to class. Bye Amber." I told her. "Alright Bye Sweetie." She said than kissed my cheek. I smiled and I turned around to see Two-bit, Pony, and Ariana standing there looking shocked. I felt bad and just left to science.
Ariana's P.O.V
"I thought Johnny liked Edith!" I told Two-bit and Pony. "We did too. But I guess not." They said. "I feel bad for her." Pony said. "Yeah same here." Two-bit and I said. "Ima get going to math I have her in that class should I tell her?" I asked them. "Yeah. It's better if she knows now." Two-bit said. "Alright bye guys." I said as I hugged them.
I went to class and saw Edith with her head down. "Hey best friend." I told her and she didn't answer. I shook her and she looked up. "What." She asked. "We need to talk." "Okay." "Well look Two-bit, Pony and I were gonna go to our lockers but before we went, we saw Johnny and Amber. Amber kissed him on the cheek and Johnny smiled." I told her and she just looked like she had no emotions in her anymore. "Oh. Okay. Thanks for telling me." "Your welcome."
We were doing math and I turned my head over to Edith and a guy was bugging her. She told him something. He still kept bugging her. "What the fuck do you want?!" She yelled. "Mrs. Mathews detention after school tomorrow." The teacher said. "I don't give a fuck!" She said as she flipped him off. "Get out!" The teacher yelled. She grabbed her things and left without a word. I would have gotten detention with her but Dally would kill me.
Edith's P.O.V
Stupid teacher and stupid kid, they shouldn't be bugging me or yelling at me. I got detention. First its Johnny now its Detention. Well detention isn't bad but Two-bit is gonna flip. I was outside of the classroom sitting down when I saw Amber. Gosh I hate her. "Hey aren't you Johnny's friend?" She asked. "Why do you care?" I snapped. "Now don't get mad cause I'm taking Johnny from you. He is mine. Then I'm going to take your best friend and last but not least the gang from you." "You bitch!" I said then punched her. "Your not taking anyone from me! You hear!" I grabbed my things and started to walk. "Just watch Edith Mathews." I left and went to the back of the school. I saw Dally slashing Mr. S. tires. "Dally!!!" I yelled and he turned to me. "What happened princess?" "Can you get me out?" "Yeah sure!" He helped me out and we went places I told him everything and he was in shock. "Want to go to Buck's?" He asked. "Sure."
We drove to Buck's and we started to drink. Buck played music so we were dancing. I got tired. "Ima go sleep in your room okay Dal?" I told him. "Alright." I went up stairs and fell asleep.
*A few hours later*
"Wake up monkey butt. Time to go get Ariana and the rest." Dally said while shaking me. "I'm up." I said as I was rubbing my eyes. I put on my shoes and we left.
We arrived to the school and I saw Ariana and Pony. "Hey guys." I said. "Hey. Where were you?" Ariana asked. "I ditched. I had to much. I was with Dally all day." They chuckled and gave me a hug and said hi to Dally. "I heard Amber got punched by one of us greasers." Pony said. "Wow really?" I said acting surprised. "Yeah." "Wow well are we waiting for Two-bit and Johnny?" I asked and they nodded. "Edith Mathews!!!" I heard Johnny yell. "What do you want Jonathan Cade." I said using his full name. "Why did you punch Amber?" "What I did no such thing?" I said all innocent. "Don't play Dumb!!" "I'm not paying dumb! I can't believe your gonna be on her side! You didn't even know what happen! I hate you Jonathan Cade. I hate you!!" I yelled and left running.
