Ariana's P.O.V
Last night was fun. But next week we go back to school ugh. At least Edith is gonna be there. We can't live with out each other. She needs me as much as I need her. I hope she doesn't get suspended again. Its no fun without her.
*Flashback*
I was in the sixth grade when Edith came up to me. "Hey aren't you that one girl who dated Jacob?" She asked me. "Yes! Please don't remind me of him!" I told her. "Haha why?" "I don't like when people remind me when I dated him. He didn't know what to do." "Haha sorry. What's your name?" "Its okay. And my name is Ariana Winston. What's your name?" "Edith Mathews. Isn't your brother Dallas?" "Yeah. Do you have a brother?" "Wow Dallas is cute! And yeah his name is Keith but his friends call him Two-bit and he prefers to be called Two-bit. I don't know why though." Edith said. "Oh I have to meet him. And my brother is alright. He is bad though. He is mean to a lot of people except me." "Oh. Hey you want to be best friends?" Edith asked me. "Yes!" I nearly screamed.
*End of Flashback*
And from that day on we still are best friends. I know a lot about her and she knows a lot about me. Sure we had our fights but we get over them. If someone hurts me she will kill them and if someone hurts her I will kill them. She protects me most in the gang. More than Soda.
Everyone woke up and they were hung over. Its funny cause they complain about the noise. Edith and Two-bit always wakes up with a huge headache that makes me crack up. "Hey you want some aspirins?" I asked all of the ones who were hungover. "Yeah please?" I laughed and gave them some. "Best friend let's hang out" Edith told me. "Yeah! Let me tell Dally." "Okay."
"Hey brother can I hang out with Edith today? We will be careful I promise." I told Dally. "Yeah you can. Hey Edith take care of her!" Dally said then yelled at Edith. "Yeah I will. Come on Ariana let's go change!" "Okay"
We had extra clothes at the Curtis House. Edith put on black high waisted shorts, hot pink crop top, hot pink bandana and hot pink converse. She put on a little bit of make-up. She looked pretty. I put on a light blue flowy shirt, black high waisted shorts, light blue bandana and light blue converse. I only put on eyeliner. (Outfits on top) "Wow you look pretty and we have the same high waisted shorts." Edith told me. "Hey your right!" I said. Even though it was November and it was cold and we didn't care if we got sick. We went down stairs and everyone was eating. "Bye guys!" We yelled. "Your not gonna eat?" Two-bit asked. "We are gonna eat at The Dingo." Edith said. "Okay! Bye!" He yelled.
We walked out of the house and headed for The Dingo. When we arrived we saw Cherry and Marcia. Edith just gave them a dirty look. They came up to us "Hey grease. Where is your little gang?" Marcia said. "Watch it soc or I'll cut that tongue off and you won't have to open your trap anymore!" Edith snapped. "Watch it or your gonna end up dead!" Marcia said. Marcia and Edith never liked each other. They always hated each other. They left after Marcia told her that. We got our food and started talking. "So how are you and Pony?" She asked. "We are fine. What about you and Johnny? Has he gave you any hints?" "No we haven't talked a lot lately." "Well yea cause your always with Sodapop." "Yeah I guess. Hey let's go to the store." She said with a smirk. Edith wants to steal. Oh no.
We paid and went to the store. They had switch blades and everything. "Go distract the workers while I steal some blades and some other stuff and when I nod then stop distracting him okay." Edith whispered to me. I nodded and I went to go distract this worker. He worked near the switchblades and I turned around and saw that Edith was taking 10 blades and put them in her pocket. Then she looked at me and nodded. That was my sign. "Well I have go my best friend is waiting for me." "Okay see you again." The worker said. On our way out Edith took 2 packs of cigarettes. "Why so many blades?" I asked her. "One for everyone. You get two since I have three." "Wow okay." "Here give this pack to Pony tell him its from me." Edith said as she gave me the pack of cigarettes. "Okay" I said as I took the pack. We headed for the park.
